I understand why folk don't want to be associated with the OF. But like it or not, with Scott Brown & Aiden McGeady in the place, we do have links, which we'd be crazy not to capitalise on. Whether in terms of organising friendly games, or signings/ loan deals. For me, it would be quite nice to see Somerset Park full & bouncing, to kick off the new season. Where do we fit them all in though? Surely we wont end up with the new stand being full of Celtic fans on the opening day?

I probably remember the antics of the crowd more than the football. There was a bit of an edge to it. Had'nt been to game with that kind of atmosphere before. Spent most of the game near the fence, enjoying winding up the Killie fans. But tbh shat it, when we had to make our way through the Killie fans to get to our bus at the end. Survived to tell the tale of course!

I think that must've been the one. According to this post, it was 2022 till we got that result there again!

My 1st Ayr game was around this time. I recall Ayr beating Killie 2-1 at Rugby Park. Which I would've guessed was probably the 87/88 season. Looking back at results, seems it was maybe the season before that.

I usually park on Walker Rd, near Hamiltons Butchers. 5 min walk at most & easy to get back out/ onto motorway on your way home.

Yeah I have heard that tbf, though I'm sure it was said, pretty tongue cheek though. Best way though I reckon, laugh off the hype/ noise around the game. He can clearly handle all that stuff pretty well.

You've got to love Scott Brown

Haven't been to Dunfermline, ICT, Arbroath or Raith yet so can't really comment on them. But Arbroath sounds like it could be worth a trip. Maybe one day... Might have gone for QP, I do actually quite enjoy the novelty of an almost empty Hampden stadium. But as a regular at Scotland games, it feels kind of like a home from home. So not sure it counts. Partick? only has 3 stands, which is shit. Dundee Utd is alright, I guess. But I stayed in Dundee for a while, & tbh I'm not really that keen on going back there. Airdrie I actually quite enjoyed. Mainly due to the trip to the Time Capsule before it (which my kids loved) & a win, which always helps. Despite the fact it always seems to be pishing down, mainly due to the proper old fashioned stadium, i have to grudgingly say Morton.

Got mixed feelings about Rangers away. Horrible club/ fans. No doubt a hefty pumping too. But f**k it, the cash should help. Whats the odds on Scott Brown now though!?!

Yeah I think lack of meaningful engagement/ communication is the hardest thing right now. 3rd bottom & in freefall with no plan to address weak points in squad. No attempts to get loan players who have played well, extended deals (Young) or tied down for next season (Chalmers/Dowds). And no attempt to get players who arent performing moved on or loaned out (could list half the squad here tbh). Whats the plan to avoid relegation? If Bullen isnt going to here next season , is there someone else in mind/ lined up? I dunno, maybe there is stuff going on behind the scenes, but it doesn't feel like it at the moment...
