  1. I think the main things I want to come out of the meeting is: What are the expectations and aspirations for next season. Is it now hybrid rather than full time. Are they concerned about the attendances dipping and what do they think the cause is. There is probably no point directly asking about Hartley, those answers will be preprepared and generic.
  2. This is a level of Scottish football pettiness I just absolutely love
  3. It’s yeah. And it’s 11:30 I believe it opens.
  4. Apologies all. I tempted fate it seems.
  5. Anyone who has joined the supporters club has been invited. Which feels fair enough, but like I mentioned above, whether or not a lot of them would even want to go is another question.
  6. I doubt the Manager will even turn up to be honest. I think there are enough dissenting voices around now that hopefully something will be said, but that relies on them even wanting to go to the evening in the first place.
  7. I am sure everyone involved in this match is looking forward to it being over. Not much else to say there. Forecast looks nice at least… so it will probably be another Haar covered match
  8. I think the malaise has well and truly sunk in with the majority of fans. With any luck there is a massive overhaul over summer that gets the fans invigorated again because it feels like they are going to struggle with season ticket sales.
  9. It’s too early for chat of this match. I haven’t finished my depression drinking bottle of wine from the last cove match yet.
  10. Paul Hartley and his wee hobbit mate McGowan are a cancer to the club. Apparently the “Man of the Match” Bilbo McGowan tried to throw Renoylds under the bus.
  11. I know I am repeating myself from my previous post. If we want a fresh start it doesn’t end with getting rid of Hartley, it’s a full root and family tree pruning.
  12. I am at that stage of, I want Cove to do well. But to be honest I would happily miss out of the playoffs. Mostly because I think another season in League 1 to reset and reassess where we want to be wouldn’t go amiss. Yes we have previously got to the championship, but we did that during a very weak league 1, but we saw how that went, we were not ready for it. The only thing that really came out of it was a bit of a pride from getting there and we gave ammo to certain elements of the SPFL for their usual craic, I am sure they will be monitoring our attendance tomorrow for example. If we go into tomorrow with 3 subs again then we need to be looking at recruitment strategy and that shouldn’t be stopping at the manager, it needs to go from manager, to director of football to chairman. The buck stops somewhere, and that’s now two managers with poor recruitment with the same director of football. Maybe Hartley isn’t the problem(he’s a major problem but I am attempting a point here)
  13. I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised to see Kelty finish above us come the end of the season.
  14. Every time I hear about our injury crisis I think. Is this how Livi fans feel when they hear about the club not having money.
  15. This makes the assumption that Cove has enough players to even rest other players.
  16. Serious responses aside. Run a small squad these things are gunna happen. It happened in league one and two before, the only difference is it didn’t highlight bad recruitment before like it does now. Honestly going into the Falkirk game I would happily turn up with just Demus, sack it off, take the 3-0 forfeit and look to next week. the only thing coming from this game is Falkirk fans lording it up over their ex manager and bbc Alba getting 2 new viewers
  17. Hmmm to watch this on BBC Alba or watch Wrestlemania XVII in preparation for the more entertaining event of the evening.
  18. Glad to see Stirling fans slating the ref as well. If i had a week at work where i performed to the same standard he performed today I would be getting a talking to from my boss. But it’s probably too much to expect the SPFL to hold their officials to a certain standard.
  19. My match preview. Pints cost £3.80 in the fanzone. That is all I have to add.
  20. I think if it was obvious that the DOF was responsible for signings Hartley would get a break, but it definitely feels all the signings are Hartleys. So to me that’s two people to get rid of, one for the signings and one for not taking control. John obviously did a lot of the club and it’s to be commended, but I feel cove has a problem with sentimentality with players and officials from the past and a fear of binning them off
  21. I think that comes down to the length of contract and cost to pay it out.
