  1. 9Arniston Rangers 0-0 Kirkcaldy and Dysart To paraphrase the 1980s battle cry "Coal not Lino" that was the thoughts of the town of Gorebridge this morning as their heroes lined up at home to the YM for the second time in seven days. The league this time after Arniston come out on top in last week's cup tie. Two teams familiar with each other with nothing to play for and it showed. Teams cancelled each other out and a lop over the home keeper going narrowly wide was the only real action. Not one that will live long in the memory. Newbyers Park looked like it used to be brilliant. A bit tired looking now. Reminded me of Kilsyth with one open side and one empty covered terrace across. Enjoyed it though. Hope the football is better when the two meet next season.
  2. B teams weren't allowed in the pyramid. Things can change. Seems crap for the teams in the Highland League (and West Premier), that the Champion not being licenced means no one gets the chance to go up
  3. Should defer to Brechin imo. Stupid from Buckie, conspiracy theorists going wild I'm sure
  4. I want Everton to go down because it would be funny but VAR is determined to shaft them here
  5. Everton fans would be booing it Gary. Even though it was technically correct it's still a shite rule
  6. The Cardiff fans defending this are wild. Perhaps technically correct but arsehole behaviour
  7. Kennoway Star Hearts 0-2 Armadale Thistle To Treaton Park Star (not Kennoway) to complete the real grounds in Fife. Still got Dunfermline and East Fife to do for the Groundhopping but do they even count? This place is bizarre. From Livingston on Sunday we saw planes (Clydebank is better). From Troon, Irvine Vics or Dunbar (allegedly as we've not been) you see Trains. From Kennoway you see Tractors. A walk through several fields with horses make you wonder what on earth you've got yourself into but if you persevere you discover a tidy wee ground with lovely folk and superb tea. We actually saw the reverse fixture at the Volly in Septemer. Kennoway were victorious that night as well and were again in their black kit. Armadale with a frankly magnificent red and white hooped shirt. Think it would maybe be more at home on a rugby team but I loved it. Some purists will complain that Kennoway, Armadale and the Referee were all wearing black shorts. Another ground with a huge slope sees Dale dominate the first half shooting down hill but can't find the target. Mastermind here says "advantage Kennoway shooting down hill second half". Needless to say Armadale won 2-0 to keep their promotion push on track. Star should be fine. There's enough rubbish below them. 7pm was cutting it a bit fine to get the game done before dark but we made it. It's unique here. Well worth coming. The horses, the tractors the slope. Stoater.
  8. Visited East Peffermill twice and have received fantastic hospitality. The ground is a credit to you as are the Volunteers. A shame the results on the park didn't follow. Good luck in the EoS next year. B team free zone so silver linings and all that
  9. Twice in the one weekend the Underdog good guys get beat on penalties after a 3-3 draw to help set up the nightmare final
  10. There are few more dislikeable c***s in football that "Bruno"
  11. Like when Roos went down yesterday you just know that's the moment that fucks it. United winning this all day
  12. What's worse there's some smug b*****ds at VAR HQ delighted because they reached the "correct decision"
