  1. Memorable moments for me in this match were first half Boti in free space moving away from the Stirling defender like he was on a motorbike. He clearly has pace but still a bit raw. I actually thought the first half performance was best, which was a bit odd seeing as only 2 first team regulars featured. "Trialist" Number 4 impressed, get him signed up! Taylor didn't really receive any service. Any from that 11 looked capable of at least providing decent cover for the usual starters. Second half a great run and goal from Kingsley, Alston clearing the ball of the refs face, a neat finish from White after a clever pass from Flynn. A good run out and fitness exercise a chance to look over the entire squad. Obvious issues needing addressed, who at centre half and need an additional striker. Not comfortable with Flynn or McGeever at back, Duffie doesn't inspire confidence in a defensive sense either, Vaulks looks the part but lacks height. No one mature enough in stiking position to provide support for Taylor...
  2. Has Vaulks signed on? I'm surprised he hasn't been seen around the first team yet. Pedro, he'll be manager one day!
  3. Nice deal. £12.2 million interest free "loan" which doesn't have to be paid back until after you're dead. I bank with this very bank, I'm visiting my local branch tomorrow to request the same terms!
  4. Were you not entitled to a parachute payment after relegation? I note no mention of this in the minutes of the meeting detailed above.
  5. That does indeed look like the same person. The club photo is not one to proud off!
  6. Now would probably be the perfect time. No game so just strike from training. Try and force the clubs hands so December wages are paid on time. Issue hopefully sorted in time for next game.
  7. What is our current annual player budget? Assuming you're talking about player budget's I was told our player budget is massivly south of what your suggesting. Are the club and academy a single business? I'd always assumed they were separate entities.
  8. It's time for the current board to go. The last few months with the noises coming from the boardroom have made it harder and harder for me to continue to attend games. Their views do not represent mine and go against the principles I thought the club held and that made me choose Falkirk as my team for the last 25 years. I've bought my ticket so will be there tomorrow night, but I hope the fans have a vocal protest at least against the board, and lets get organised for future games and force some changes at the top. The board are only current custodians of the club and do not represent the views of the majority of the Falkirk fanbase as a whole.
  9. For the love of god, please tell me this isn't true.
  10. Indeed, but I can assure you there will be a further uptake in fans renewing their season tickets should the Newco application to the first division be rejected. Me included!
  11. Good post. Still think there are more twists and turns to come in this story. Best to keep our feet on the ground at this time.
  12. Do be honest I'd think I'd prefer to see them relegated from the Junior leagues. I hope over the next couple of weeks we don't see a "Rangers" in the senior Scottish leagues.
  13. A few years longer in Scotland and he'd end up looking like Stevie Fulton!
  14. But more importantly. A certain 8 - 1 league cup defeat would be wiped from the record books!
  15. For the love of god lol. How long can they drag this out!? Bets on who will now be the next saviour of Rangers?
  16. It would be quite good for Queens if there was someone waiting in the wings to come in and inject some cash!
  17. Does the tax bill not become liable for payment immediately if they lose the FTT? They can appeal that decision and if successful they would get the money back it would likely take some time. Whyte didn't pay PAYE or NIC from the outset, I personally think it was always his intention to manufacture an insolvency event.
  18. Maybe. But Gilmour certainly seemed to imply that he had doubts about the nature of the approach. No smoke without fire. Swampy, if you can find the interview by Chic, it does make interesting listening.
  19. Stuart Gilmour just on Radio Scotland saying Rangers club secretary Gary Withy (SP) has attempted on a couple of occasions recently to buy St Mirren. Stuart Gilmour told him to beat it, credit to him, and suggests it was a really dodgy approach.
