  1. I'll give you 21p Now there is a thing - a share issue. Pardon my ignorance if this has been done in the last couple of decades but would a share issue not raise some dosh?
  2. It's the Friday night roulette wheel of takeaway. I might need to go for a 12" pizza, chips, chicken pakora and a can of coke, from Ali's in Partick
  3. Gandalf is only interested in hobbits and sorcery, less so the Scottish Championship. No doubt it will be streamed by someone but isn't everything these days?
  4. Wow! Don't get that angle from standing! It is just begging to be played on, crying out for it, aching! Ca-nae-wait!!!!!
  5. - "Hi, I'm home (enters through front door). - "What have I told you before, sit the f**k down, right now"
  6. Stage 1 - stay in the championship Stage 2 - total domination of Scottish football and building new stands/roof with champions league money. (Stages 1.001 to 1.999 to follow)
  7. A nice wee win to kick off the new season hopefully tomorrow. Some good tunes played on the new sound system too!!! Looking forward to seeing the squad - missed those lovely b*****ds!!!
  8. If McCall WAS given a strict budget this season, as quoted by Lachlan (no more hand outs from him) then I really think he has worked wonders to keep those players from last season, no doubt on better terms for most (step up in league) and added who he has. 2 more sleeps to kick off!!!!!
  9. In the last few seasons we have had up to 6 starters out injured. I think that is as good a squad we could ask for on our budget. McCall called it. Until we can shift 3,000 season tickets like some in this league, we are competing on a shoestring budget in comparison. Well done McCall. I still think we will shock a few this year, most notably some of our own support.

  11. Mash tatties*, sausages, carrots, broccoli and gravy. * mashed with butter, salt, pepper and a spoonfull of wholegrain mustard.
  12. With the huge step up to Championship level, each and every player needs to play in the best position and I would much rather see one of the younger squad players fill a hole if one opens up. Keeps consistency with the positions and formations. We can get away with it in this league as we are not expected to win every single game like in league 1. Should create better player development, a more settled side and put an end to the 'musical chairs' approach when an injury or 2 comes along. I think this is what McCall is genuinely thinking this season and I for one am buzzing. No doubt there will be highs and lows but I trust him and this squad to be involved in more highs than lows. I also firmly believe that one or two teams will be in for a bit if a shock up against us. On the goalie situation, much better to get the right one, no matter when it is. It is a specialist position. I keep thinking to myself that we could have, very easily, and most certainly would have in seasons gone by, lost Shankland, Moore, Crawford and McDaid during the close season. So chins up lads and lassies. Happy days and lots to look forward to.
  13. Would be great if we could get a goalie who was shit hot, a bit nuts and was great with the fans.
  14. Think 'all the young dudes' will play a big part this season when the injuries kick in. Think it will be good for them and good for the club. Keeps us within budget and keeps the journeymen jobbers away from San Somerset. If this squad can't keep us up, then we don't deserve to stay up as a club. Got to try and push on and live within our means. A good trick if we get it right.
  15. Good signing Mild cheese pannini on white part baked baguette, real butter on the outside, can of Pepsi and packet of new malteaser buttons for lunch Chilli and brown rice, avocado and sour cream for dinner
