  2. Can you imagine the seethe from our East Ayrshire neighbours if we finish above them?
  3. Was at the shop today dropping off more artwork, picking up season ticket, bought away top and polo shirt for my dad and brother - shop was busy which was great to see - best thing was seeing how much the hub is progressing! Imagine that first pint and a sing song before a game
  4. Showed us a glimmer of what he could be all about in the Stranraer game.
  5. Looking at the size (height) of the squad the manager is putting together, it reminds me of many of the successful championship promotion sides of the past, and even the most successful junior teams of my youth, for that matter too. They would always look bigger and stronger than any of the opposition. I know there has definitely been a shift to the possession based, low centre of gravity, skilful smaller player in a lot of teams but it’s all about winning the league or getting promotion now. A good mix would be nice, but we have to be physical and fit first, on a cold wet January night!
  6. If we can crack all that, then with Morton’s mean defence in place, we should be challenging at the top end of the league.
  7. Just watched Tomi’s interview - comes across as a decent guy. Clearly wants to make an impact, do well and play at a higher level. I know it’s only Stranraer and all that, and I’m no scout, but from what I saw of him, I think he will be a handful and I’m buzzing to see him in the flesh. Gut feeling he could be a capture and a half.
  8. This thread is getting too personal for a football forum. Slating opinion is one thing. Slating each other is too far. Please can we keep it football related please?
  9. “TOOOOOMI - ADELOOOOOOOOYE” “TOOOOOMI - ADELOOOOOOOOYE”
  10. How much of your debt did the bank wipe out to keep you alive?
  11. Keenan was a rare breed who actually gave a f*ck, and still does. Deserves as much adulation from Ayr fans as they can give. A ratio of 1 Keenan to 50 wage thieving imposters, I would guess.
  12. Adeloye looked like had had a bit of pace and guile about him.
  13. Totally freaked McCall out - he looked like the end of days had begun
  14. I don’t think we have had a manager that has split the support as much as Hopkin. I really hope for his sake, but more so for the position that the team will be in, that we get off to a blinding start. That would probably include a result at Rugby Park. I’m somewhere in the middle - optimistic and patient, but with the sound of fear lingering in the background!
