  1. Every chance. He's one of those worst c***s on FB who post misinformed shite hoping for likes. Capital letters galore.
  2. Was playing darts down the pub last night. First dart hit the 20. Second hit the treble 20. Third dart bounced out and hit a nun in the throat severing her main artery. ONE NUN DEAD AND EIGHTY!
  3. I'm needing to bump it too. The Rovers page fair exposes the belters though.
  4. Calls for the board to go on the Facebook page. Thon Craig Duncan boy is proper doing his dinger. "THE TRUTH MUST BE TOLD!!!!!!" Today's result is embarrassing but nowhere near the same level as that laudies FB rants.
  5. Completely agree. In our current financial situation though, the 15k committed is a significant contribution towards another much needed player. No guarantee that he'd win us the league but it'd give us a wee bit more depth.
  6. Sure there's bigger issues to be found with the Rovers than three out of five supporters clubs trying to fund a signing.
  7. Anybody else becoming progressively murderous at every mention of the grass pitch in the same sentence or paragraph as the player budget?
  8. I agree with the principle of this post but if Barry Smith came to me and said that he wanted to spend the rest of the meagre budget on a CM instead of the required RW or RB I'd have packed his office up for him.
  9. The 15k was a commitment from members of the Raith forum. It's still an option as far as I know.
  10. Good point. Still the road I'd like us to go down if we can get by until the window.
  11. Bit harsh saying that he's wasted the budget when the boys he's brought in are performing. What does that matter? Jimmy Nicholl's first management job was with us. Did no' bad likes.
  12. I wouldn't be averse to a player manager with Cat in the dugout. Be aswell enhancing the squad with the new appointment. Who though?
  13. I'm sure we made some good use of the fifty quids worth of empty Barrs bottles.
  14. Dave McKay was brilliant yesterday. Very, very promising young player we have there. Good performance all round. In total control for the majority of the game.
  15. People are dreaming about shagging tidy celebrities, flying and aw that. Meanwhile I dreamt that I tried and failed to do a shite in a dingy ice rink changing room toilet.
  16. Every time I've spoken to Buchanan I've found him to be exceptionally polite and easy to speak to. It hasn't really worked out for him so far at the Rovers but to be fair to the player, he spent most of last season having high balls shelled at his heid. That's similar to asking Kevin Byers to write a book on how to pick up supermodels. We're only three games in to this season so I'm willing to give him a wee bit of time yet.
  17. Someone warn the Borehamwood supporters about the imminent crowd wanking.
  18. Didn't expect a Pars supporter to comment on a post about crowds. Shocked!
  19. Agreed that it wasn't a great overall performance but there was some promising signs that we're capable of taking teams apart. I know that Smith was frustrated up at Cove with regards to his instructions largely being ignored but I didn't see any evidence of this happening today. Part and parcel of the game that the gaffer will be frustrated with some passages of play that he would like done differently. Doesn't mean that the players are intentionally defying his orders.
  20. We played some great stuff on the deck at times today and the only time we launched the ball was if the defenders didn't have a safe option on the ground. Understandable really.
  21. No it didn't. Stenhousemuir hit the post and that's pretty much as close as they got. For their wee spell in the 2nd half we defended resolutely. A good performance isn't all about what we do in an attacking sense.
