  1. What in the name of fcuk are you slavering about man? You said that Falkirk didn't offer him a longer term deal, I pointed out that you were talking pish and that you jumped to that conclusion. Nothing more, nothing less. I din't once mention anything about Dundee's spending never mind jump to conclusions about it. And you claim that I'm speculative, bitter and seething!
  2. Well that bit's just pish isn't it. Your perogative to jump to conclusions though.
  3. Well, in reality you can only compare those players and I assume you mean Farid, Taylor and Higgy to Loy as well. However, I'd rather have Loy than either Taylor or Higginbotham and possibly Millar as well as I like the way the guy plays football. I think the possibility of bringing in yet another top forward is fairly remote and only time will tell how his loss will affect the team.
  4. Thing is, although he's a very good player and I would take him before some that BPM mentioned, he's not dissimilar to the players that you mention in some ways. He's definitely not a No 9, more a number 10. What us old guys used to call an inside forward. Sounds like you need a Farid or a Lyle Taylor rather than a Rory Loy?
  5. I tend to agree with this. I don't think they can treat the top league any differently to the rest and with Sevco, Hearts and Hibs already having had a few thousand using the terracing at QOS, Alloa and Cowdenbeath they can't use the excuse of bigger crowds in the Premier being any more dangerous.
  6. Because that post also talked about the upcoming semis.
  7. On that basis then surely McDiarmid would be the best option?
  8. Not sure that you can make that claim in this particular season.
  9. So are you going to explain that one to me then? Are you saying that Hamilton wholly own their stadium and are making a £300k profit after costs from renting it out but we're having to pay £300k in rental/interest to whoever owns ours? Sandy Alexander? If it's repaying a loan to lay the pitch, when will that be repaid as this would presumably put us in a similar position to Accies at that stage?
  10. Explain that one and tell us why we can't do the same.
  11. It may do if it's permanent, then again it may not. You know for a fact that his career is over then? Why has there been no mention from the club? Actually, don't bother answering that it's probably a daft question!
  12. You seem to know an awful lot. What do you mean 'Jones is gone'? Has he been released and, if so, has he got another club? If not, why would he just walk away from a contract that was paying him £x per week?
  13. First time I saw Farid was a cup game up at Brechin and he was boufin'. All he did was run around looking decidedly unsure of himself and ended up with a booking for quite a bad tackle. We all know how that worked out!!
  14. Much closer to excellent than horrendous imo. I thought he put himself about well at ER and didn't receive the ball much last week. He looks strong and pacey although we've not really seen him on the ball yet so, for me, the jury's still out.
  15. To where though? Under contract is he not? along with some others that we would maybe prefer moved on.
  16. All of a sudden we've got a 'big' squad. Somethings gotta give!
  17. Don't know if it's him or not to be honest, I just made it up. Seems to be growing legs though!
  18. Mark Millar's a great player and I'd much rather have re-signed him than Kerr. I'm sure you'll be very happy with him.
  19. Who says we're desperate to sign him? I think the board would probably accept a derisory offer for Loy rather than lose him for nothing later but I don't see Baird as a replacement and hopefully Houstie doesn't either. He would be acceptable back up though.
  20. LA la la la la la la la la la la (with fingers in my ears). Agree about Taylor though.
