  1. Just had a look and we won 4 in a row as recently as 20/21.
  2. I wonder when we last won three in a row? I’ll go for Totten’s first spell. Seriously though, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was back in Houstie’s time!
  3. Alloa had more than 4 efforts at goal. They were all shite granted, but there was more than 4.
  4. What was wrong with Hetherington’s interview exactly?
  5. Wonder if there's any chance of Henderson returning? Maybe next week if not this? I'm sure they said 4-6 weeks at the time.
  6. No idea about the concerts although they obviously must be worth doing. I wouldn't think it would be a massive figure though once all of the associated expenditure is taken into account?
  7. I don't think that figure's correct. If we've sold circa 2200 STs at, let's say an average price of £200, that equates to £440,000, meaning that our total income would be close to £3,000,000. I can't see where we're getting that sort of income from, unless they're referring to the years where we got big transfer fees and add-ons? It would be interesting to see a breakdown of previous year's income.
  8. Well I suppose since we've already got the KM stand it could only really be the north that could be re-named? The Ineos stand has a nice ring to it. (for a million or so)
  9. Wouldn't the bulk of any money go to the council?
  10. Did the early sending off affect them badly would you say? How equal was the game before hand?
  11. Well that was a breath of fresh air although Peterhead were absolutely dreadful so it's difficult to judge just how good we actually were. Williamson and Morrison shouldn't have started but thank f**k they did. What do any of us know about football management, eh? Morrison was unplayable at times and Williamson gave us his best performance in a Falkirk shirt to date. Can't understand why he started with essentially three defensive mids as it meant Yeats basically playing out of position in a more advanced role. Maybe Lawal isn't fully fit yet, but him in for Hetherington is pretty obvious I would say. Once again, I think that, when everyone is fully fit, we should use a 3-5-2. I don't think we can afford to leave McCann out as he gives us a lot down the left and Williamson can do similar on the right when he would have less defending to do. I thought Alegria (FFS stop calling him Algeria) played quite well. Doesn't look like there's masses of quality there but he is quite physical and holds the ball up quite well. Looks like he snatches at his chances though, maybe a goal will give him a bit of confidence and he can sort that out. I'd like to see what Burrell can do, but I wouldn't be dissapointed in having Alegria off the bench as an option. All in all a good day at the office (I think Lewis is taking the piss now TBH) but feet on the ground as we won't play opposition of that quality every week. Unfortunately.
  12. Aye, I fucked that up actually. Unless we play Ross, which I wouldn't be against (might as well give him a chance to prove he's shite) then we will have to play one of them. Mcguffie would be my choice of the 4.
  13. Unless there's been further injuries that we don't know about there's no reason for any of the 4 of them being played today. Let Williamson be the only weak link FFS! However if, of course, the 2 new guys have been proven to be shite in training we may need to play some of them and then we really will be in trouble!
  14. I'd be boycotting them too at that price TBH.
  15. Aye, apologies mate, I just qouted your post to give some context to what Springfield was saying and should have said so.
  16. You said 'the aforementioned players' those were Nesbitt and Kennedy.
  17. So what's wrong with Kennedy? We haven't even seen him play yet.
  18. One of the reasons that I think we'd be better trying a back 3. We need to play Williamson (although I think it would be worth trying someone like Ross out there) because we need Yeats in midfield and it means that Williamson should have a little less defending to do. Also, Mackie is better at left CB than LB and, although, for some reason he doesn't seem to be everyone's cup of tea, it would get McCann on the park. I'd definitely go on Saturday: PJ Donaldson, McKay, Mackie Williamson, Yeats, Lawal, McGinn, McCann Oliver, Burrell No Hetherington, no Nesbitt, no McGuffie and no Morrison. All 4 probably better coming off the bench anyway. As it stands McKay may not be available meaning we'd need to play a back 4 anyway of course.
  19. He obviously goes from a standing/running position to being flat on his face but he didn't 'fall down' as such IMO. I think what's happened is he's trying to get back to cut out a cross, the ball then deflects off McKay and, Bairnardo's right here, it deflects behind him so he's trying (and failing) to throw his foot backward to stop it. He didn't have time to stop and adjust his position so he's just trying anything he can to get something on the ball. I'm just very fucking glad that I couldn't be there to see it!
  20. Aye, I'd be interested to know how many full games Ross has played for us, can't be very many? When you consider the likes of Nesbitt and Hetherington are getting picked every week it's surely not too much of an ask to give the guy a chance. BPM says that to play wing-back you need someone that can get up and down the flank all day, which I agree with however, Williamson can't do that. His efforts at getting back when the ball is lost are not good.
