  1. Aye that's very true. I was thinking more in terms of your general game though, not just against us.
  2. He was pish yesterday but so were almost everyone else TBF.
  3. Can only assume that he's injured as he hasn't been quoted for a while now. I think we need to give Lawal a start in this by dropping Kennedy.
  4. I suppose at home you'll be expected to come out and play a bit in an effort to get the win. You definitely didn't defend in depth at EEP the way you did yesterday, in either half.
  5. Absolutely rancid performance from us, one of, if not the, worst of the season so far. Dunfermline's game plan was obvious from the start but we just kept trying the same tactics all day in the hope of something coming off. Kennedy should have been sacrificed early on with Alegria on to support Burrell who was hopelessly isolated. The only one of our players who performed anywhere near his full potential was McCann. Donaldson, McGinn, Nesbitt and Burrell weren't completely hopeless but the rest were just guff. The substitutions didn't help much either. Oliver in particular brought nothing to the game. At one point McCann ran forward beating a couple of players but lost the ball which was knocked past Oliver. McCann then overtook him in an effort to win the ball back with Oliver just standing there looking lost! Pitiful. I think Dunfermline already have the league in the bag. I just can't see them going on a poor run. It's not pretty to watch but obviously very effective. They'd have to lose at least three games more than us to give us any chance and I just don't see that happening sadly.
  6. Aye, Tam Cowan reckons that the crowd will be 'over 10000'.
  7. There's parking at the ground but there's a charge (canny mind how much). The industrial estate is the best bet for away fans
  8. I understand your scepticism but it's a genuine offer of help.
  9. If you can make your way to the FV hospital in Larbert on the bus I'll pick you up and take you down to the ground. I'll take you back to the hospital afterwards too.
  10. I'm assuming you don't drive? Could you not hitch a lift?
  11. Andy Irvine played 168 games for Dundee, scoring 4 goals before joining Falkirk. He signed for Dundee Utd after leaving us, playing 8 times without scoring. His last appearance for DU was an 8-2 defeat to Berwick Rangers.
  12. I thought you were pretty poor in the first game, so here's hoping that you're right and you're just as bad as you were then!
  13. Was thinking that myself as I don't think they've a lot of physicality up front. That being the case though it could be better to leave Henderson in to avoid too many changes?
  14. I'm a bit concerned at Henderson being centre half now. He's fairly easily forced off the ball and doesn't have the physicality of the other options. He looks fine on the ball when not under pressure but certainly struggles a bit when forwards get in his face. We need changes on Saturday because we won't get the easy ride from Queens that we got at the FS, not sure if he should be one of them? We definitely need to mix it up in midfield though as Nesbitt, McGuffie and Oliver are all a bit lightweight. I'd keep Nesbitt in but I'd bring Lawal and Yeats in for Oliver and McGuffie. They'd beef up the midfield a bit and would give us a chance to see what Lawal's all about.
  15. 5 ex FFC players (I think) for us to boo/politely applaud, plus Cardle. We should win this, but we need to be at it from the start and keep the tempo up for the whole game. Hogarth McKay, Donaldson, Henderson, McCann McGinn Morrison, Nesbitt, Oliver, Kennedy Alegria Would still like to see Lawal over an extended period. I heard the other night that they think highly of him but he's apparently not too good at following instructions.
  16. It's not, it's one week minus an hour and half!
  17. I think everyone who's deal ends at the end of this season will be gone with the exception of Nesbitt and Oliver who I think are worth offering new deals to along with Burrell and Lawal who I expect he'll probably want to keep a hold of. Of course all four could end up being pish and binned as well, although I don't think that'll happen. I reckon we'll have to operate with a smaller squad, no matter what league we're in so I can see 8 being released with maybe just 4 or 5 (of a better standard) coming in. We'll definitely need a new RB, defensive midfielder, wide mid and possibly a striker or two. Possibility of Alegria and Kennedy returning on loan I would think? I'm saying this assuming that McGinn, Yeats, Morrison, Donaldson, Henderson, McCann, PJ, Mackie and the youth players all have deals beyond 2023.
  18. Tiger was class. A left back or a number 10 both brilliant I don't ever remember Tiger playing that far up the park. He played as a sweeper when he came back to us but not midfield or up front.
