  1. This will have already been discussed I'm sure but why don't you boys go back in for Goodwillie? Can't see how it can damage your reputation too much given that he's been playing for you for years anyway?
  2. Know what I was thinking right...I was thinking that if we could dominate the first half and then dominate the second we'd dominate the whole game and we'd win it if we could score goals and not let any in. It's time Rennie realised that and got it sorted out. That's what good managers would do anyway.
  3. Agreed. Simple. Rennie's obviously not the guy for us.
  4. Joking aside, the guy may well turn out to be ok at RWB. Having, presumably, never played as a defender before though...
  5. I don't think he'll play a back 4 unless he drops McCann and probably Williamson as neither are particularly good at the defensive part of their game. That would mean Miller and ATS coming in. As has been said often enough, I think we need another midfielder in the centre to compliment Telfer and Jacobs with Williamson and McCann either side. That gives us Watson and Dixon and A.N. Other at the back (Mills probably). I also think that he won't play Griffiths from the start, at least in his early few games, as he still needs to get his fitness levels up. The thought of Dowds and Kabia wearing out defences before then giving them Griffiths to think about is quite appealing TBH.
  6. I still think he needs to lose a bit of weight, although it's maybe just the puffer jacket that's doing it!
  7. Yes, that's the point that's being made. Well done, you appear to be getting the hang of this now!
  8. If Dundee have offered him a highly incentivised deal that would potentially have made him their highest paid player (if successful), then I assume that our deal will be different and that we're just throwing money at him instead? Under those circumstances, what's the chances of him turning things around and getting fit enough to make a difference to us? Very little I would have thought. I don't agree that it's a gamble worth taking if it's going to cost us a fortune.
  9. For long periods Dixon was possibly the worst player on the park yesterday, however he has had some really bad performances already this season and tends to come back from them fairly strongly in his next match so I would be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and pitch him back in again. ATS looks very casual a lot of the time. I would blame him more than Dixon for the QP goal as Dixon had another forward to deal with at the time. Initially I thought that Dixon had made a hash of his shot when setting up Dowds for his goal however, having watched the highlights, it's actually a very clever piece of skill to provide the chance!
  10. Haven't enjoyed my football for about 4 years now.
  11. He was so fucked we thought he'd pulled up again. Turned out he was just knackered.
  12. Utter nonsense. Telfer is forced to carry the midfield week after week. He wasn't really all that much better today than he normally is and, whilst I acknowledge that his form has dipped a bit, to say that he plays as well as he did today only every 10-15 games is just daft.
  13. Telfer took quite a bad knock. Did you miss Dowds rolling about in their penalty area after taking a sore one?
  14. I really hope that wasn't a typo! We were pretty rotten overall with only Dowds, Kabia (1st half), Watson and Telfer looking half decent, Dowds being the best of the bunch. I feel that ATS looks half-arsed some of the time and Dixon looked, unsurprisingly, like someone who hadn't kicked a ball for weeks. Hopefully Jacobs just needs more game time because he didn't look at it either! I'm a supporter of Rennie, thought we won a watch when we got him, but I'm starting to question some of his decisions now. It may just be that some players are carrying knocks but I can't understand his love of McGuffie, particularly at WB and why start McKay today given he preferred Mills last week? Definitely need another midfielder who can put his foot on the ball and that can impose himself. We're still very short of forward options too. Anybody know what was wrong with Morrison today? The very obvious penalty, where the defender put the ball out for the corner with his hand hasn't been mentioned either. Was a definite penalty.
  15. Apar from many many £££££££££££££££££££££££££££££
  16. Christ! It was bad enough wanting him in the first place, if the BOD go for him now having seen what the reaction was at Raith then they deserve all they get!
  17. Feck knows why though?! I've been happy with Rennie so far, I think there are small signs of improvement, but I can't understand why he's insisting on McGuffie as a WB. The only reason I can come up with is that McCann's maybe carrying a bit of an injury and Rennie doesn't think he can last the full 90? I hope that's the case because I really like McCann as a player, I think he could prove to be a real asset in a balanced midfield.
  18. Fingers crossed, but I think they would have done it by now.
  19. I think we can forget about Liam Craig now. If it was to be a player/coach role then I don't think that would happen as a loan.
  20. I wonder if Aaron Ramsey likes pudding suppers?
