They really are going out to give us an entertaining PPV on Sunday. They've obviously thought "f**k it, lets throw just throw gimmicks out there".

Not really sure about the TLC and ladder matches but they should be entertaining at least. The two chairs matches should be brilliant as well.

The Miz vs. Daniel Bryan - WWE Night of Champions 2010

Bryan chases Miz around the ring and then Miz decides to just go into the ropes. Headlock from Miz and then Bryan sends him into the ropes and gets charged down. Hiptosses blocked, and Miz heads for the floor to block the LaBell Lock. Bryan into the ropes. Miz with the Leapfrog and Bryan with a Dropkick to take him down from there. Bryan's arm gets dropped over the top rope. Miz then lands a bunch of right hands. Shoulder sent into the top buckle and then the same again. Miz then grabs the arms of Bryan, almost like the start of a Cattle Mutilation. He then settles for just stretching the arms. Bryan tries to escape, so Miz throws the knees into the back of Bryan. Bryan manages to escape from that and gets a Backslide for a two count. Kick to the face from Miz. Shots to the arm and then he stretches the arm of Bryan around the middle rope. Riley does the same on the floor behind the referee's back. Arm Breaker from Miz and then he locks in the Hammerlock. Bryan gets behind Miz and then lands forearms. Miz changes things with the Shoulder Breaker and that gets a two count. BRUTAL Arm Snap over the bottom rope from Miz. Back into the ring they go and that gets a two count for the current US champ. Arm Bar from Miz. The fans are getting behind Bryan here. Bryan now with forearms and then Miz kicks the arm again. Miz charges and gets sent to the floor. SUICIDE DIVE FROM BRYAN !!! Bryan heads for the top rope and he lands a big Top Rope Dropkick and that gets a two count. Running Knee to the face and that gets a two count. Bryan grabs a leg and Miz kicks him into the corner. Miz runs into a boot. Running High Knee from Bryan gets a two count. Big left hands from Miz against the right hands of Bryan. Kicks to the chest from Bryan in the corner and the audience are liking that. BRUTAL DROPKICK IN THE CORNER FROM BRYAN !!! KICK TO THE HEAD FROM BRYAN !!! ONE ! TWO ! THR ... KICKOUT !!! Set on the top rope now and Miz comes back in. He crotches Bryan on the top rope. BRUTAL LARIAT BRINGS BRYAN BACK INTO THE RING !!! ONE ! TWO ! THR ... KICKOUT !!! Knee into the head of Bryan and then he grabs the arm. SKULL CRUSHING FINALE ... VICTORY ROLL COUNTER !!! ONE ! TWO ! THRE ... KICKOUT !!! LABELL LOCK FROM BRYAN ... Riley onto the apron. Bryan isn't happy. Riley off of the apron. REVERSE VICTORY ROLL FROM BRYAN !!! ONE ! TWO ! THRE ... KICKOUT !!! Miz grabs the trunks and sends Bryan to the floor. Riley gets sent into the ringpost. Miz runs into a shoulder. SMALL PACKAGE OUT OF NOWHERE FROM MIZ !!! ONE ! TWO ! THRE ... KICKOUT !!! Miz with right hands. Stomps to the shoulder. RIGHT INTO THE LABELL LOCK FROM BRYAN !!! THE AUDIENCE IS GOING FUCKING MENTAL !!! MIZ TAPS AND THE ARENA GOES CRAZY !!!

That is a stonker of a match. I clocked it at ****1/2 when it happens and I definately didn't clock it right. It's still a superb match, but at times when The Miz was in control, the whole thing just felt a bit too contrived and it really took away from a significant portion of the match. Make no mistake though, this was just yet another match in this guy's amazing catalogue. ****

Sheamus vs. Wade Barrett vs. Edge vs. Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton vs. John Cena - WWE Night of Champions 2010

Everyone is in the ring at the same time. Cena gets worked on by many. Wade misses a charge at Orton and then Sheamus drags him to the floor. Sheamus sent into the barrier. Edge sent to the floor. Jericho goes for a cover and that gets a two count. Kicks to the back from Jericho and then Cena comes into the ring. Right hands from Cena in the ring and the fans boo. Bulldog from Cena to Jericho. RKO ON JERICHO !!! ONE ! TWO ! THREE !!! Chris Jericho has been eliminated.

Chris Jericho is in disbelief. Sheamus gives him a look that says "f**k off". Edge doesn't look too pleased with that happening. Everyone gets back into the ring. They all look at Jericho as they think that he's a goner from WWE now. "Y2J" chant breaks out. Wade is now surrounded. That kinda happened in secret when Jericho was leaving. Well played. The guys beat the crap out of Wade, and then they all start to battle. Orton and Cena go face to face and then Wade comes back in. Wade wants to direct traffic with Sheamus and Edge. Sheamus and Edge opt to kick the crap out of him. Cena and Orton then take out Edge and Sheamus and it comes down to those two guys again. RKO ... countered to the STF ... countered to the Hanging DDT ... countered to Attitude Adjustment and Orton gets onto the apron. Wade takes three guys out of the match with a Neck Snap/Suplex combo, and then gets into the ring and gets a nearfall. Sheamus now into the ring and he lands some right hands on Cena. Sheamus then goes out and lays on the stomps on everyone. He picks up Orton and sends him into the barrier. High Knee in the ring and then he taunts the crowd who don't approve. Running Knee Lift from Sheamus. Short Arm Clothesline ducked and Cena comes back with right hands. He charges into an elbow from Sheamus. CELTIC CROSS FROM SHEAMUS ... Cena manages to break that. SUPER BACK DROP SUPLEX ... Cena manages to stop that and send Sheamus down. TOP ROPE FAMEASSER ... Edge blocks. Edge and Sheamus now set Cena on the top rope. DOUBLE SUPERPLEX FROM SHEAMUS AND EDGE !!! ONE ! TWO ! THR ... KICKOUT !!! Edge and Sheamus decide to try on someone else and then Wade gets launched into the barrier. They decide to send Orton into the ring this time and Sheamus with clubbing blows across the chest of Orton. Edge then with stomps on Orton. Elbow strikes across the throat of Orton from Sheamus as Edge goes around the ring and lays some stomps into the guys on the floor. Orton into the corner and Edge hits a Spear in there. Right hands from Sheamus in the corner. Orton now comes back with Clotheslines. Powerslam on Edge, but then Sheamus lands a Celtic Hammer. Sheamus knocks Wade off of the apron. Edge with the Edge-O-Matic on Sheamus. SPEAR FROM EDGE ... misses. IRISH CURSE ON EDGE !!! SPEAR ON SHEAMUS FROM EDGE !!! SPEAR ON ORTON !!! ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT ON EDGE !!! ONE ! TWO ! THREE !!! Edge has been eliminated.

Right hands from Wade to Cena. WASTELAND ON CENA ... countered. ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT FROM CENA ... COUNTERED TO A DDT !!! ONE ! TWO ! KICKOUT !!! Wade heads for the floor and he kicks Sheamus and then goes for Orton as well. He then walks around the ring and gets back in. Jabs from Wade and then Cena lands some Shoulder Tackles. PROTOBOMB !!! THE FIVE KNUCKLE SHUFFLE !!! ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT ... stopped. STF ON SHEAMUS !!! SHEAMUS REACHES THE BOTTOM ROPE !!! HE SAVES HIS TITLE !!! Nexus hit the ring and they are trying to surround Cena. WASTELAND ON CENA !!! ONE ! TWO ! THREE !!! John Cena has been eliminated.

Nexus lay a beating on Orton on the floor. They then send Orton into the ring in his weakened state. Nexus are now on the apron. CENA STARTS TAKING OUT NEXUS !!! RKO ON TWO OTHER MEMBERS !!! WASTELAND ON ORTON ... Orton Backbreaker and now he's ready to strike. RKO !!! ONE ! TWO ! THREE !!! Wade Barrett has been eliminated.

We're down to Sheamus and Orton. THE BROW KICK FROM SHEAMUS !!! ONE ! TWO ! THRE ... KICKOUT !!! THE HIGH CROSS ... countered. RKO ON SHEAMUS !!! ONE ! TWO ! THREEEEEEEEEEE !!!

The section between Jericho's elimination and the next elimination was really poor. The stuff after that was pretty good though. At times a bit contrived but they managed to amp up the drama quite a bit. ***1/2

The Miz vs. John Morrison vs. Daniel Bryan, Submissions Count Anywhere Match - WWE Hell in a Cell 2010

Morrison and Bryan sweep down Miz. Miz heads for the floor. The fans boo him for that. He just wants a rest. The faces try and surround Miz and eventually catch him. Dropkick to the face from Bryan. Morrison and Bryan now going to go at it. Bryan goes behind and Morrison takes him down. Bryan goes behind and then takes him down with the Hammerlock. Bryan grabs a leg of Morrison and grapevines it and Morrison reaches the bottom rope. The submission heads for the floor and Miz now breaks it and lays in some beat down. Morrison then gets charged into the apron and then Bryan gets launched into the barrier. Stomps to the face and the chest of Morrison in the ring. He then chokes Morrison over the middle rope. Miz misses a charge and then Morrison locks in the Tarantula on Miz. Bryan breaks that. CATTLE MUTILATION FROM BRYAN !!! Kick to the back from Bryan and then kicks to the chest. Striker : "That's called Cattle Mutilation. Look it up." Lawler : "If I look up cattle mutilation, I'll get Striker's commentary." Magnificent. Bryan then grabs the leg and grapevines it. Miz with a boot in the face, but Bryan isn't phased and kicks him back. Both guys kicking each other in the face. Morrison in. STARSHIP PAIN AND THAT BREAKS THE MOVE !!! Morrison locks in something of a one legged Haas of Pain. Miz comes in and he breaks it. Miz then sent to the floor. CORKSCREW PESCADO FROM MORRISON TO MIZ !!! Morrison and Miz now brawl around ringside. Morrison gets sent over the barrier. Morrison then comes back with right hands and then face first into the barrier he goes. Right hands from Morrison and they then battle up the stairs. DRAGON CLUTCH INSIDE THE RAILING ON THE STEPS !!! Bryan kicked down the steps and then Miz breaks and goes down to deal with him. BRYAN GOES FOR THE LABELL LOCK ... Miz manages to break that. Morrison comes over and lands a bunch of right hands but then gets dropped on a wall and then Bryan gets sent THROUGH a wall. Morrison attacks from behind. Morrison throws Miz somewhere. FLASH KICK OFF OF A WALL !!! MIZ RUNS AN EQUIPMENT BOX RIGHT INTO MORRISON OUT OF NOWHERE !!! Bryan then gets dropped onto that box. Bryan then gets ran into the ramp on there. Morrison and Miz battle and Morrison with a Dropkick over the box. TRIANGLE CHOKE FROM MORRISON ... Bryan blocks that. Bryan then gets sent into the railing. SKULL CRUSHING FINALE ON THE CONCRETE FROM MIZ ON MORRISON !!! Bryan and Miz do battle on the ramp and take each other out with a Clothesline. Morrison then climbs the massive cell thing on the ramp. MORRISON COMES OFF OF THE STRUCTURE WITH A PLANCHA ONTO BRYAN AND MIZ !!! MORRISON WITH THE CLOVERLEAF ON MIZ !!! ALEX RILEY BREAKS THAT !!! Riley then gets sent off of the ramp and we're back to Miz and Bryan. LABELL LOCK ON THE RAMP FROM BRYAN TO MIZ !!! NOWHERE TO GO !!! MIZ TAPS !!!

I'm not sure what to think of this one. I can't help but think that the match wouldn't have been any better without the stipulations as a three way involving Morrison and Miz probably needed a whole bunch of short cuts to make them look better. The match was good fun and they timed the spots well, but the match was pretty much all about the big spots. ***3/4

Sheamus vs. Randy Orton, Hell in a Cell Match - WWE Hell in a Cell 2010

Turns out Sheamus has been on a bit of a tear in 2010 and might be an outside shout for the best wrestler of 2010. To see how far he has come, check out his match with Randy Orton at the start of the year and then eight months later. Lockup and into the ropes they go. They then break and then Sheamus beats on Orton with some right hands. Orton comes back with right hands of his own. Both men hammer each other. Kick to the stomach and then Orton into the corner, and he explodes out with a Clothesline. Sheamus then comes back into the match and lands some shots. Sheamus then rakes the face of Orton on the top rope. Short Arm Clothesline from Orton and then he sends Sheamus over the top to the floor. Orton follows him out and tries to send him into the cell wall. Orton walks into a kick but then sweeps Sheamus down and lands some stomps to the gut and lands a Knee Drop and that gets a two count. Sheamus with a shoulder to the gut and then a nice Slingshot Shoulder Tackle and that gets a two count. Sheamus then clubs away at the chest of Orton. Sheamus tries to send Orton into the cell and he comes back into the match. Orton is then whipped into the cell wall. Sheamus then grabs the steps and then goes for Orton with them. Orton moves and then sends Sheamus into the ringpost. Orton then rams Sheamus into the cell wall. Orton then slams the steps into the head of Sheamus. Orton blocks a Suplex, but can only do that for so long and Orton gets dropped on the top rope and then barged off of the apron and into the cell. Stomps to the stomach from Sheamus to Orton. Sheamus is now wanting to expose the steel under the padding in one of the corners. Orton comes back into the match but Sheamus nails the Celtic Hammer and then he heads back to the floor as Orton decides to buy more time out there. Orton gets sent into the wall of the cell and then Sheamus grabs the steps again. Sheamus then drops the stomach of Orton over the ring steps. Nice. More stomping to the stomach. That has been subtle as f**k body part working from Sheamus btw. More stomping to the stomach and then back into the ring they go. That gets a two count for the challenger. Body Scissors from Sheamus as he continues to work on the body of Orton. Orton battles back into the match and then Sheamus buries some knees into the gut and then locks in the Waistlock again. Orton comes back and then lands the Back Drop Suplex. Sheamus misses a charge and then Orton lands a Dropkick. Orton and Sheamus then exchanged right hands. Orton then counters the High Cross and lands a Powerslam. Orton charges into an elbow and then lands a Belly 2 Belly Suplex for a two count. Sheamus walks into a kick. Irish Curse is countered and Orton with the Orton Backbreaker and now he's waiting. Knee to the ribs from Sheamus. Orton comes back with shots again. This match is a bit of a struggle. POWERSLAM ON THE STEPS FROM ORTON TO SHEAMUS !!! ONE ! TWO ! THR ... KICKOUT !!! HANGING DDT ON THE STEPS ... countered. Orton with the Neck Snap over the top rope though. THE HANGING DDT TO THE FLOOR FROM ORTON TO SHEAMUS !!! Back into the ring again. IRISH CURSE ON THE STEPS FROM SHEAMUS !!! BROW KICK FROM SHEAMUS !!! ONE ! TWO ! THR ... KICKOUT !!! I'm not really buying that finish in the matches between these two guys anymore. Chair shots to the mid section gets a two count. RKO FROM ORTON !!! Sheamus then rolls to the floor. PUNT FROM ORTON ON THE FLOOR ... MISSES !!! BROW KICK ON THE FLOOR !!! Back into the ring and Orton sweeps down Sheamus on the steps. RKO ON THE STEPS FROM ORTON !!! ONE ! TWO ! THREE !!!

That was too long and just didn't work for me. They relied too much on the steps and the cell rather than working within their own strengths. They have certainly shown themselves to be good enough to have a match on their own. **

Wade Barrett vs. John Cena - WWE Hell in a Cell 2010

Bell rings and this one is off. Lock up and then Cena goes to the arm of Wade and takes him over for the two count. The same thing happens again. Wade doesn't look shaken. More determined than anything else. Wade into the ropes and then a Hiptoss from Cena and a Dropkick and that gets a two count. Wade backs into the corner and now Wade is a bit more concerned now. Lockup and then right hands and kicks from Wade. He mounts Cena and lands a series of right hands. Cena comes back and lands some rights and lefts. Into the corner and the referee backs Cena off. Attitude Adjustment and now Nexus head for the ring. Wade Barrett launches Cena into the barrier and then has words with Nexus and goes back into the ring. Two count comes from that. Wade now lands the left jabs and the big right and that gets a two count yet again. Right hands from Wade. Backbreaker from Wade and that gets a two count. Wade then heads for the middle buckle and lands a big Elbow Drop and that gets a two count. Stomps and kicks to the stomach from Wade. Cena ducks a right hand and he comes back with some of his own. He misses a charge and then Wade with a big Neckbreaker and that gets a two count for the leader of the Nexus. Wade now stretching the arms of Cena. Knee to the back from Wade from there. Wade with a Slingshot into the ropes and then the back lands on the knees of Cena. That move was FAR too indy for that crowd. Cena then comes back into the match again and Cena lands the big Shoulder Tackles. THE PROTOBOMB FROM CENA !!! The Nexus are now surrounding the ring. THE FIVE KNUCKLE SHUFFLE !!! Cena is wary of all of the guys at ringside. The Big Show now goes after Nexus and the locker room empties and there is a war going on at ringside. John Cena LOVES what he sees. That is gonna give Wade Barrett a chance to recover though. The WWE superstars get sent to the back now. STF FROM CENA ... Wade kicks Cena away. Pump Handle Slam from Wade gets a two count for the Englishman. Cena avoids a move and lands a Hiptoss and that gets a two count. Cena has his eyes on Wade, but gets caught with a Butterfly Suplex from Wade for a two count. Wade walks right into a boot. BLACK HOLE SLAM FROM WADE !!! ONE ! TWO ! KICKOUT !!! Wade is now heading for the middle rope. Big Elbow Drop misses for Wade. Cena is now heading for the top rope. Wade stops him up there and Cena blocks the Superplex. SUPER FAMEASSER FROM CENA !!! ONE ! TWO ! KICKOUT !!! ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT ... blocked. WASTELAND FROM WADE !!! ONE ! TWO ! THRE ... KICKOUT !!! ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT FROM CENA !!! ONE ! TWO ! THRE ... KICKOUT !!! INTO THE STF FOR CENA !!! Some fan tries to run in the ring. SOMEONE LAYS OUT CENA !!! ONE ! TWO ! THREE !!!

I don't want to take too much away from this match as it was amazing to watch at the time, but watching it now, it's clear to see that Wade Barrett simply wasn't ready for such a long and dramatic match. The guy certainly brought a good effort, but it wasn't enough for the match to be as good as it was on first viewing. **3/4

Dolph Ziggler vs. Daniel Bryan - WWE Bragging Rights

The fans lockup and Ziggler goes behind and then Bryan rolls around a bit trying to find a good position and then Ziggler reaches the bottom rope. They then lock hands and Ziggler with another takedown and he's controlling the match at the moment. Bryan rolls through to the LaBell Lock again and Ziggler gets around the ring. Bryan goes to the floor and then hides behind Vickie. RUNNING KNEE OFF OF THE APRON FROM BRYAN !!! Running Dropkick into the corner from Bryan and then Ziggler rolls to the floor. Neck Snap over the top rope from Ziggler. We miss a move in the ring and Ziggler then kicks the back and that gets a two count. Stomp to the back from Ziggler and then right hands. Ziggler then chokes Bryan over the middle rope. That gets a two count. Neckbreaker from Ziggler is countered to a Backslide for a two count. O'Connor Roll from Bryan gets another two count. Inverted Powerslam from Ziggler and that gets a two count. Chinlock from Ziggler and then a knee in the back. Bryan then gets back to his feet, but then gets the back of his head slammed into the canvas. Running Rolling Neck Snap from Ziggler and that gets a two count. Ziggler then kicks Bryan down to the canvas. Snapmare and then he lands his big Elbow Drop. Chinlock from Ziggler. Bryan then gets to his feet and fights out. Bryan into the ropes and Ziggler runs into a boot. BRYAN MISSES THE RUNNING DROPKICK IN THE CORNER AND LANDS ON HIS HEAD !!! ONE ! TWO ! KICKOUT !!! Ziggler then with shots to the neck and that gets a two count. Fireman's Carry gets a two count for Ziggler. Bryan battles to his feet and lands a Jawbreaker. Bryan misses a shot but so does Ziggler. Kicks to the arms and then the sides and chest and now he unleashes. KNEE TO THE FACE FROM BRYAN !!! Bryan flips over Ziggler and lands his big Clothesline and the fans are liking this. Running High Knee from Bryan and that gets a two count. Ziggler into the ropes and he kicks Bryan in the face. ZIGGLER RUNS RIGHT INTO THE HEAD KICK OF BRYAN !!! Springboard Dropkick from Bryan and that gets a two count. Ziggler gets a School Boy. SUPERKICK FROM ZIGGLER !!! ONE ! TWO ! THR ... KICKOUT !!! ZIG ZAG ... misses. KICK TO THE HEAD FROM BRYAN !!! ONE ! TWO ! THR ... KICKOUT !!! Bryan heads for the top rope and Ziggler stops him up there. Bryan is able to escape and then he crotches Ziggler on the top rope. TOP ROPE BACK DROP SUPLEX FROM BRYAN ... ZIGGLER SHIFTS THE MOMENTUM !!! ONE ! TWO ! THRE ... INTO A SMALL PACKAGE FROM BRYAN !!! ONE ! TWO ! THRE ... KICKOUT !!! SLEEPER HOLD FROM ZIGGLER ... counter. BOTH MEN COLLIDE IN MID AIR WITH THE CROSS BODY !!! The fans are WAAAAY into this one now and you can't blame them. Headbutts now from both men. They are both fighting now. Kick to the face from Bryan. Pinfall exchange from both men. FAMEASSER FROM ZIGGLER !!! ONE ! TWO ! THRE ... FOOT ON THE BOTTOM ROPE !!! What a stunner of a match this is. SLEEPER HOLD FROM ZIGGLER !!! HE ADDS THE BODY SCISSORS !!! BRYAN FINDS THE BOTTOM ROPE !!! BRYAN GETS THE LABELL LOCK ON ZIGGLER !!! ZIGGLER TAPS !!!

I thought I had over-rated this initially, but I hadn't. This was absolutely amazing. Dolph Ziggler is definately better than The Miz when it comes to keeping up with the better wrestlers and that allowed him to keep up with some amazing exchanges. ****1/2

The referee ejects Vickie Guerrero from the ring area. The match is over fucknuts.

Miz then grabs the arms of Bryan, almost like the start of a Cattle Mutilation. He then settles for just stretching the arms. Bryan tries to escape, so Miz throws the knees into the back of Bryan. Bryan manages to escape from that and gets a Backslide for a two count. Kick to the face from Miz. Shots to the arm and then he stretches the arm of Bryan around the middle rope. Riley does the same on the floor behind the referee's back. Arm Breaker from Miz and then he locks in the Hammerlock. Bryan gets behind Miz and then lands forearms. Miz changes things with the Shoulder Breaker and that gets a two count. BRUTAL Arm Snap over the bottom rope from Miz. Back into the ring they go and that gets a two count for the current US champ. Arm Bar from Miz. The fans are getting behind Bryan here. Bryan now with forearms and then Miz kicks the arm again. Miz charges and gets sent to the floor. SUICIDE DIVE FROM BRYAN !!! Bryan heads for the top rope and he lands a big Top Rope Dropkick and that gets a two count. Running Knee to the face and that gets a two count. Bryan grabs a leg and Miz kicks him into the corner. Miz runs into a boot. Running High Knee from Bryan gets a two count. Big left hands from Miz against the right hands of Bryan. Bryan isn't happy. Riley off of the apron. REVERSE VICTORY ROLL FROM BRYAN !!! ONE ! TWO ! THRE ... KICKOUT !!! Miz grabs the trunks and sends Bryan to the floor. Riley gets sent into the ringpost. Miz runs into a shoulder. SMALL PACKAGE OUT OF NOWHERE FROM MIZ !!! ONE ! TWO ! THRE ... KICKOUT !!! Miz with right hands. Stomps to the shoulder. RIGHT INTO THE LABELL LOCK FROM BRYAN !!! THE AUDIENCE IS GOING FUCKING MENTAL !!! MIZ TAPS AND THE ARENA GOES CRAZY !!!

That is a stonker of a match. I clocked it at ****1/2 when it happens and I definately didn't clock it right. It's still a superb match, but at times when The Miz was in control, the whole thing just felt a bit too contrived and it really took away from a significant portion of the match. Make no mistake though, this was just yet another match in this guy's amazing catalogue. ****

Sheamus vs. Wade Barrett vs. Edge vs. Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton vs. John Cena - WWE Night of Champions 2010

Everyone is in the ring at the same time. Cena gets worked on by many. Wade misses a charge at Orton and then Sheamus drags him to the floor. Sheamus sent into the barrier. Edge sent to the floor. Jericho goes for a cover and that gets a two count. Kicks to the back from Jericho and then Cena comes into the ring. Right hands from Cena in the ring and the fans boo. Bulldog from Cena to Jericho. RKO ON JERICHO !!! ONE ! TWO ! THREE !!! Chris Jericho has been eliminated.

Chris Jericho is in disbelief. Sheamus gives him a look that says "f**k off". Edge doesn't look too pleased with that happening. Everyone gets back into the ring. They all look at Jericho as they think that he's a goner from WWE now. "Y2J" chant breaks out. Wade is now surrounded. That kinda happened in secret when Jericho was leaving. Well played. The guys beat the crap out of Wade, and then they all start to battle. Orton and Cena go face to face and then Wade comes back in. Wade wants to direct traffic with Sheamus and Edge. Sheamus and Edge opt to kick the crap out of him. Cena and Orton then take out Edge and Sheamus and it comes down to those two guys again. RKO ... countered to the STF ... countered to the Hanging DDT ... countered to Attitude Adjustment and Orton gets onto the apron. Wade takes three guys out of the match with a Neck Snap/Suplex combo, and then gets into the ring and gets a nearfall. Sheamus now into the ring and he lands some right hands on Cena. Sheamus then goes out and lays on the stomps on everyone. He picks up Orton and sends him into the barrier. High Knee in the ring and then he taunts the crowd who don't approve. Running Knee Lift from Sheamus. Short Arm Clothesline ducked and Cena comes back with right hands. He charges into an elbow from Sheamus. CELTIC CROSS FROM SHEAMUS ... Cena manages to break that. SUPER BACK DROP SUPLEX ... Cena manages to stop that and send Sheamus down. TOP ROPE FAMEASSER ... Edge blocks. Edge and Sheamus now set Cena on the top rope. DOUBLE SUPERPLEX FROM SHEAMUS AND EDGE !!! ONE ! TWO ! THR ... KICKOUT !!! Edge and Sheamus decide to try on someone else and then Wade gets launched into the barrier. They decide to send Orton into the ring this time and Sheamus with clubbing blows across the chest of Orton. Edge then with stomps on Orton. Elbow strikes across the throat of Orton from Sheamus as Edge goes around the ring and lays some stomps into the guys on the floor. Orton into the corner and Edge hits a Spear in there. Right hands from Sheamus in the corner. Orton now comes back with Clotheslines. Powerslam on Edge, but then Sheamus lands a Celtic Hammer. Sheamus knocks Wade off of the apron. Edge with the Edge-O-Matic on Sheamus. SPEAR FROM EDGE ... misses. IRISH CURSE ON EDGE !!! SPEAR ON SHEAMUS FROM EDGE !!! SPEAR ON ORTON !!! ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT ON EDGE !!! ONE ! TWO ! THREE !!! Edge has been eliminated.

Right hands from Wade to Cena. WASTELAND ON CENA ... countered. ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT FROM CENA ... COUNTERED TO A DDT !!! ONE ! TWO ! KICKOUT !!! Wade heads for the floor and he kicks Sheamus and then goes for Orton as well. He then walks around the ring and gets back in. Jabs from Wade and then Cena lands some Shoulder Tackles. PROTOBOMB !!! THE FIVE KNUCKLE SHUFFLE !!! ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT ... stopped. STF ON SHEAMUS !!! SHEAMUS REACHES THE BOTTOM ROPE !!! HE SAVES HIS TITLE !!! Nexus hit the ring and they are trying to surround Cena. WASTELAND ON CENA !!! ONE ! TWO ! THREE !!! John Cena has been eliminated.

Nexus lay a beating on Orton on the floor. They then send Orton into the ring in his weakened state. Nexus are now on the apron. CENA STARTS TAKING OUT NEXUS !!! RKO ON TWO OTHER MEMBERS !!! WASTELAND ON ORTON ... Orton Backbreaker and now he's ready to strike. RKO !!! ONE ! TWO ! THREE !!! Wade Barrett has been eliminated.

We're down to Sheamus and Orton. THE BROW KICK FROM SHEAMUS !!! ONE ! TWO ! THRE ... KICKOUT !!! THE HIGH CROSS ... countered. RKO ON SHEAMUS !!! ONE ! TWO ! THREEEEEEEEEEE !!!

The section between Jericho's elimination and the next elimination was really poor. The stuff after that was pretty good though. At times a bit contrived but they managed to amp up the drama quite a bit. ***1/2

The Miz vs. John Morrison vs. Daniel Bryan, Submissions Count Anywhere Match - WWE Hell in a Cell 2010

Morrison and Bryan sweep down Miz. Miz heads for the floor. The fans boo him for that. He just wants a rest. The faces try and surround Miz and eventually catch him. Dropkick to the face from Bryan. Morrison and Bryan now going to go at it. Bryan goes behind and Morrison takes him down. Bryan goes behind and then takes him down with the Hammerlock. Bryan grabs a leg of Morrison and grapevines it and Morrison reaches the bottom rope. The submission heads for the floor and Miz now breaks it and lays in some beat down. Morrison then gets charged into the apron and then Bryan gets launched into the barrier. Stomps to the face and the chest of Morrison in the ring. He then chokes Morrison over the middle rope. Miz misses a charge and then Morrison locks in the Tarantula on Miz. Bryan breaks that. CATTLE MUTILATION FROM BRYAN !!! Kick to the back from Bryan and then kicks to the chest. Striker : "That's called Cattle Mutilation. Look it up." Lawler : "If I look up cattle mutilation, I'll get Striker's commentary." Magnificent. Bryan then grabs the leg and grapevines it. Miz with a boot in the face, but Bryan isn't phased and kicks him back. Both guys kicking each other in the face. Morrison in. STARSHIP PAIN AND THAT BREAKS THE MOVE !!! Morrison locks in something of a one legged Haas of Pain. Miz comes in and he breaks it. Miz then sent to the floor. CORKSCREW PESCADO FROM MORRISON TO MIZ !!! Morrison and Miz now brawl around ringside. Morrison gets sent over the barrier. Morrison then comes back with right hands and then face first into the barrier he goes. Right hands from Morrison and they then battle up the stairs. DRAGON CLUTCH INSIDE THE RAILING ON THE STEPS !!! Bryan kicked down the steps and then Miz breaks and goes down to deal with him. BRYAN GOES FOR THE LABELL LOCK ... Miz manages to break that. Morrison comes over and lands a bunch of right hands but then gets dropped on a wall and then Bryan gets sent THROUGH a wall. Morrison attacks from behind. Morrison throws Miz somewhere. FLASH KICK OFF OF A WALL !!! MIZ RUNS AN EQUIPMENT BOX RIGHT INTO MORRISON OUT OF NOWHERE !!! Bryan then gets dropped onto that box. Bryan then gets ran into the ramp on there. Morrison and Miz battle and Morrison with a Dropkick over the box. TRIANGLE CHOKE FROM MORRISON ... Bryan blocks that. Bryan then gets sent into the railing. SKULL CRUSHING FINALE ON THE CONCRETE FROM MIZ ON MORRISON !!! Bryan and Miz do battle on the ramp and take each other out with a Clothesline. Morrison then climbs the massive cell thing on the ramp. MORRISON COMES OFF OF THE STRUCTURE WITH A PLANCHA ONTO BRYAN AND MIZ !!! MORRISON WITH THE CLOVERLEAF ON MIZ !!! ALEX RILEY BREAKS THAT !!! Riley then gets sent off of the ramp and we're back to Miz and Bryan. LABELL LOCK ON THE RAMP FROM BRYAN TO MIZ !!! NOWHERE TO GO !!! MIZ TAPS !!!

I'm not sure what to think of this one. I can't help but think that the match wouldn't have been any better without the stipulations as a three way involving Morrison and Miz probably needed a whole bunch of short cuts to make them look better. The match was good fun and they timed the spots well, but the match was pretty much all about the big spots. ***3/4

Sheamus vs. Randy Orton, Hell in a Cell Match - WWE Hell in a Cell 2010

Turns out Sheamus has been on a bit of a tear in 2010 and might be an outside shout for the best wrestler of 2010. To see how far he has come, check out his match with Randy Orton at the start of the year and then eight months later. Lockup and into the ropes they go. They then break and then Sheamus beats on Orton with some right hands. Orton comes back with right hands of his own. Both men hammer each other. Kick to the stomach and then Orton into the corner, and he explodes out with a Clothesline. Sheamus then comes back into the match and lands some shots. Sheamus then rakes the face of Orton on the top rope. Short Arm Clothesline from Orton and then he sends Sheamus over the top to the floor. Orton follows him out and tries to send him into the cell wall. Orton walks into a kick but then sweeps Sheamus down and lands some stomps to the gut and lands a Knee Drop and that gets a two count. Sheamus with a shoulder to the gut and then a nice Slingshot Shoulder Tackle and that gets a two count. Sheamus then clubs away at the chest of Orton. Sheamus tries to send Orton into the cell and he comes back into the match. Orton is then whipped into the cell wall. Sheamus then grabs the steps and then goes for Orton with them. Orton moves and then sends Sheamus into the ringpost. Orton then rams Sheamus into the cell wall. Orton then slams the steps into the head of Sheamus. Orton blocks a Suplex, but can only do that for so long and Orton gets dropped on the top rope and then barged off of the apron and into the cell. Stomps to the stomach from Sheamus to Orton. Sheamus is now wanting to expose the steel under the padding in one of the corners. Orton comes back into the match but Sheamus nails the Celtic Hammer and then he heads back to the floor as Orton decides to buy more time out there. Orton gets sent into the wall of the cell and then Sheamus grabs the steps again. Sheamus then drops the stomach of Orton over the ring steps. Nice. More stomping to the stomach. That has been subtle as f**k body part working from Sheamus btw. More stomping to the stomach and then back into the ring they go. That gets a two count for the challenger. Body Scissors from Sheamus as he continues to work on the body of Orton. Orton battles back into the match and then Sheamus buries some knees into the gut and then locks in the Waistlock again. Orton comes back and then lands the Back Drop Suplex. Sheamus misses a charge and then Orton lands a Dropkick. Orton and Sheamus then exchanged right hands. Orton then counters the High Cross and lands a Powerslam. Orton charges into an elbow and then lands a Belly 2 Belly Suplex for a two count. Sheamus walks into a kick. Irish Curse is countered and Orton with the Orton Backbreaker and now he's waiting. Knee to the ribs from Sheamus. Orton comes back with shots again. This match is a bit of a struggle. POWERSLAM ON THE STEPS FROM ORTON TO SHEAMUS !!! ONE ! TWO ! THR ... KICKOUT !!! HANGING DDT ON THE STEPS ... countered. Orton with the Neck Snap over the top rope though. THE HANGING DDT TO THE FLOOR FROM ORTON TO SHEAMUS !!! Back into the ring again. IRISH CURSE ON THE STEPS FROM SHEAMUS !!! BROW KICK FROM SHEAMUS !!! ONE ! TWO ! THR ... KICKOUT !!! I'm not really buying that finish in the matches between these two guys anymore. Chair shots to the mid section gets a two count. RKO FROM ORTON !!! Sheamus then rolls to the floor. PUNT FROM ORTON ON THE FLOOR ... MISSES !!! BROW KICK ON THE FLOOR !!! Back into the ring and Orton sweeps down Sheamus on the steps. RKO ON THE STEPS FROM ORTON !!! ONE ! TWO ! THREE !!!

That was too long and just didn't work for me. They relied too much on the steps and the cell rather than working within their own strengths. They have certainly shown themselves to be good enough to have a match on their own. **

Wade Barrett vs. John Cena - WWE Hell in a Cell 2010

Bell rings and this one is off. Lock up and then Cena goes to the arm of Wade and takes him over for the two count. The same thing happens again. Wade doesn't look shaken. More determined than anything else. Wade into the ropes and then a Hiptoss from Cena and a Dropkick and that gets a two count. Wade backs into the corner and now Wade is a bit more concerned now. Lockup and then right hands and kicks from Wade. He mounts Cena and lands a series of right hands. Cena comes back and lands some rights and lefts. Into the corner and the referee backs Cena off. Attitude Adjustment and now Nexus head for the ring. Wade Barrett launches Cena into the barrier and then has words with Nexus and goes back into the ring. Two count comes from that. Wade now lands the left jabs and the big right and that gets a two count yet again. Right hands from Wade. Backbreaker from Wade and that gets a two count. Wade then heads for the middle buckle and lands a big Elbow Drop and that gets a two count. Stomps and kicks to the stomach from Wade. Cena ducks a right hand and he comes back with some of his own. He misses a charge and then Wade with a big Neckbreaker and that gets a two count for the leader of the Nexus. Wade now stretching the arms of Cena. Knee to the back from Wade from there. Wade with a Slingshot into the ropes and then the back lands on the knees of Cena. That move was FAR too indy for that crowd. Cena then comes back into the match again and Cena lands the big Shoulder Tackles. THE PROTOBOMB FROM CENA !!! The Nexus are now surrounding the ring. THE FIVE KNUCKLE SHUFFLE !!! Cena is wary of all of the guys at ringside. The Big Show now goes after Nexus and the locker room empties and there is a war going on at ringside. John Cena LOVES what he sees. That is gonna give Wade Barrett a chance to recover though. The WWE superstars get sent to the back now. STF FROM CENA ... Wade kicks Cena away. Pump Handle Slam from Wade gets a two count for the Englishman. Cena avoids a move and lands a Hiptoss and that gets a two count. Cena has his eyes on Wade, but gets caught with a Butterfly Suplex from Wade for a two count. Wade walks right into a boot. BLACK HOLE SLAM FROM WADE !!! ONE ! TWO ! KICKOUT !!! Wade is now heading for the middle rope. Big Elbow Drop misses for Wade. Cena is now heading for the top rope. Wade stops him up there and Cena blocks the Superplex. SUPER FAMEASSER FROM CENA !!! ONE ! TWO ! KICKOUT !!! ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT ... blocked. WASTELAND FROM WADE !!! ONE ! TWO ! THRE ... KICKOUT !!! ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT FROM CENA !!! ONE ! TWO ! THRE ... KICKOUT !!! INTO THE STF FOR CENA !!! Some fan tries to run in the ring. SOMEONE LAYS OUT CENA !!! ONE ! TWO ! THREE !!!

I don't want to take too much away from this match as it was amazing to watch at the time, but watching it now, it's clear to see that Wade Barrett simply wasn't ready for such a long and dramatic match. The guy certainly brought a good effort, but it wasn't enough for the match to be as good as it was on first viewing. **3/4

Dolph Ziggler vs. Daniel Bryan - WWE Bragging Rights

The fans lockup and Ziggler goes behind and then Bryan rolls around a bit trying to find a good position and then Ziggler reaches the bottom rope. They then lock hands and Ziggler with another takedown and he's controlling the match at the moment. Bryan rolls through to the LaBell Lock again and Ziggler gets around the ring. Bryan goes to the floor and then hides behind Vickie. RUNNING KNEE OFF OF THE APRON FROM BRYAN !!! Running Dropkick into the corner from Bryan and then Ziggler rolls to the floor. Neck Snap over the top rope from Ziggler. We miss a move in the ring and Ziggler then kicks the back and that gets a two count. Stomp to the back from Ziggler and then right hands. Ziggler then chokes Bryan over the middle rope. That gets a two count. Neckbreaker from Ziggler is countered to a Backslide for a two count. O'Connor Roll from Bryan gets another two count. Inverted Powerslam from Ziggler and that gets a two count. Chinlock from Ziggler and then a knee in the back. Bryan then gets back to his feet, but then gets the back of his head slammed into the canvas. Running Rolling Neck Snap from Ziggler and that gets a two count. Ziggler then kicks Bryan down to the canvas. Snapmare and then he lands his big Elbow Drop. Chinlock from Ziggler. Bryan then gets to his feet and fights out. Bryan into the ropes and Ziggler runs into a boot. BRYAN MISSES THE RUNNING DROPKICK IN THE CORNER AND LANDS ON HIS HEAD !!! ONE ! TWO ! KICKOUT !!! Ziggler then with shots to the neck and that gets a two count. Fireman's Carry gets a two count for Ziggler. Bryan battles to his feet and lands a Jawbreaker. Bryan misses a shot but so does Ziggler. Kicks to the arms and then the sides and chest and now he unleashes. KNEE TO THE FACE FROM BRYAN !!! Bryan flips over Ziggler and lands his big Clothesline and the fans are liking this. Running High Knee from Bryan and that gets a two count. Ziggler into the ropes and he kicks Bryan in the face. ZIGGLER RUNS RIGHT INTO THE HEAD KICK OF BRYAN !!! Springboard Dropkick from Bryan and that gets a two count. Ziggler gets a School Boy. SUPERKICK FROM ZIGGLER !!! ONE ! TWO ! THR ... KICKOUT !!! ZIG ZAG ... misses. KICK TO THE HEAD FROM BRYAN !!! ONE ! TWO ! THR ... KICKOUT !!! Bryan heads for the top rope and Ziggler stops him up there. Bryan is able to escape and then he crotches Ziggler on the top rope. TOP ROPE BACK DROP SUPLEX FROM BRYAN ... ZIGGLER SHIFTS THE MOMENTUM !!! ONE ! TWO ! THRE ... INTO A SMALL PACKAGE FROM BRYAN !!! ONE ! TWO ! THRE ... KICKOUT !!! SLEEPER HOLD FROM ZIGGLER ... counter. BOTH MEN COLLIDE IN MID AIR WITH THE CROSS BODY !!! The fans are WAAAAY into this one now and you can't blame them. Headbutts now from both men. They are both fighting now. Kick to the face from Bryan. Pinfall exchange from both men. FAMEASSER FROM ZIGGLER !!! ONE ! TWO ! THRE ... FOOT ON THE BOTTOM ROPE !!! What a stunner of a match this is. SLEEPER HOLD FROM ZIGGLER !!! HE ADDS THE BODY SCISSORS !!! BRYAN FINDS THE BOTTOM ROPE !!! BRYAN GETS THE LABELL LOCK ON ZIGGLER !!! ZIGGLER TAPS !!!

I thought I had over-rated this initially, but I hadn't. This was absolutely amazing. Dolph Ziggler is definately better than The Miz when it comes to keeping up with the better wrestlers and that allowed him to keep up with some amazing exchanges. ****1/2

The referee ejects Vickie Guerrero from the ring area. The match is over fucknuts.

Obviouslynothing is going to beat Taker/HBK, but Ziggler vs Bryan from Bragging Rights is sensational.

Aye, I actually clocked it at ****1/4 initially. It's rare that a match actually gets better when I watch it non-live, but it certainly worked for me. Ziggler worked like a b*****d in there.

I was amazed by how much I didn't like Sheamus/Orton though. I really enjoyed that on the night and to a lesser extent, Wade/Cena. The latter was still good.

I can see there reasoning for it, assuming Jarrett will still be heel by then and with a hometown Scottish wrestler it will recieve a cheap pop.

It looks like the worst movie ever. Although this is what WWE wrestlers should be doing now if they're going to be in movies, i.e. cameo type roles, as the novelty of seeing wrestlers in their own movie wore off long ago.

Indeed they were/are! I read that 'Knucklehead' was so shit that they weren't able to determine what money it made on it's opening week. The same report (in Powerslam I think it was) said that 'Motherhood' (a really shit Uma Thurman movie they said) grossed $88 in it's opening week. So as shit as that was, at least they were still able to determine a figure. 'Knucklhead' is so shit that they can't determine any income at all.

Yet WWE keep putting these pish films out. Of course it must only be a matter of time before TNA copies them, as that's what they love doing. I can't wait to see what cinematic marvels they'll release, starring Hardy, Abyss etc.

Well considering all the stats WWE come out with, longest running weekly show etc. is down to Vince. Although he allowed them to go through, he didn't write them. That's like saying it's Dixie Carter's fault for TNA continually using the ref bump. WWE is a mammoth compared to other wrestling companies, the praise lies at the feet of Vince.
