Now that Edinburgh City have hit the big time again, has anyone at Livingston considered applying to enter the East Of Scotland (City) Cup again? Maybe too late for this season to arrange but 2017/18 might prove an attractive prospect for the semi-finals draw with Livingston, Berwick Rangers, Edinburgh City and the winners of the East of Scotland Qualifying Cup going in to the hat together. What would be the pros and cons? Any ideas folks?

I'm asking for proof of this.
Media links are standard to back this up.
Almost a full 24 hours after your original post and neither club has announced this?

Why would we want another striker anyway? Our weakest point is a long term arrangement for a goalkeeper.

Agreed.
But technically we only have 3 strikers so having another 1 signed up wouldn't be the end of the world but yeah I'd rather we had a permanent goalkeeper in the ranks.

Could be something in that you know, we had about 20 players down trialing with us the other day.

In other news I see Ryan Currie has departed the club, lad never really got a chance and probably wasn't going to so makes sense for both parties.

Yep can't blame Currie for wanting to try somewhere else to get regular games, could easily be playing every week for a League 2 team or maybe even getting signed by another League One club, he was comfortable enough playing against Championship players last season and you can see he has a bit of skill about him. Just needs regular games to progress.
