thruthenight
I am admittedly disappointed with Isma, hopefully after this mini pre-season we'll see a new version of him at Christmas time. I wouldn't hold my breath though. If he moves on, I wouldn't be too disappointed. Omeonga leaving would be sad, but not the end of the world. Longridge would be an obvious one, potentially Cancar?
DavideFernandezLoveChild
This Diakhaby kid looks like quite the mercurial talent. If it is attitude that is the issue we have seen that Davie can work that out of players. Considering the fees paid for him he obviously has shown some great promise in his youth years. We are well on our way to having a very exciting squad of players with great depth.

Would still leave us with Anderson, Nouble, Guthrie and, to a lesser extent, Shinnie as options to lead the line. All of whom have contributed more than Isma
LiviLion
We're in a pretty good place in that there isn't really anyone we're all actively wanting punted - Isma the closest to an exception but there will still be a good number thinking (hoping) he'll come good. Isma - he might well have a sudden JET-like burst of form but he doesn't do enough when he comes off the bench for me to want to keep him. Bin. Longridge - we have Montano and Penrice who have both been superb here IMO, and Sean Kelly if they're both out. Would be near the top of my list for wages to free up if someone wants him. Cancar - loan (to Arbroath/Morton) seems most likely. I've been impressed with him but also recognise he has a bit of madness in him, loan to get some minutes and more used to the game here probably best for everyone. Konovalov/Hamilton - despite Martindale saying he wants 3 keepers in, seems pretty obvious Konovalov will be away at the end of the season at least, would prefer to keep him over Hamilton though. There's also Tom Parkes, who had potential to be a very good signing but just seems to be broken, whether or not we'll just release him while he's injured until the summer(?) is another question. I think the above four could be out without it impacting us too much, after that you're probably looking at guys who we'd need to find a replacement for.
thruthenight
Lol fucking hell, I've paid £5 to watch this QPR friendly this afternoon and the opening monologue of the commentator is full of rage about Beale leaving. 'Now he has trips to Motherwell to look forward to' 'Our opponents Livingston, who sit 4th in the two-team SPL' Nice, warm, encouraging words about your opponents for a friendly. Salty fucks

Reading his wiki it looks like he's cut from the Bahamboula/Nouble style of play, exciting and skillful with the ball at his feet, rough around the edges when it comes to finishing/final ball, and needs to learn the defending part of our game, working off the ball closing players down and tracking back. Most of which can be coached into him by our management team. Both Nouble and Bahamboula have learned the defensive part of play our players are expected to do off the ball, both still a bit dodgy with their final balls but decent enough for our level. Had they it all they'd never have come to Livi, but there has still been a decent bit of improvement from both of them that should attract interest/offers from bigger teams. Hopefully Diakhaby will be the same, if we sign him.

Luiyi de Lucas was apparently the centre half. Lucas Stenhouse from the reserve team was not listed in the subs so I assume he was also one of them. I also saw Brian Schwake down there so he could have been the third trialist who didn't get on the pitch. When Longridge plays we see him position himself very narrow defensively, close to the left centre back. Martindale seems to use Longridge when he wants to force the opposition right attacker into staying out wide. I think Martindale likes to have this option and he subs Longridge on to combat specific opposition threats in the second half of matches. So I expect he'll want Longridge staying and any move would only come from Longridge himself wanting it.

Our scouting department pulls out some crazy finds every now and then. He looked alright in the 45 minutes that he got.

Only a friendly and all that but great to see the youth system starting to pay off and seeing him getting a game, nothing better than getting overexcited about someone playing well/scoring a few goals against other youngsters. More Marc McNulty less Matthew Knox pls. Edited November 30, 2022 by LiviLion

It was originally disbanded in no small part to Malky McKay's Project Brave wasn't it? In fairness, we look like we have began to churn out a decent amount of talent going forward for the national team and a fair few of them are performance school graduates. Delighted to have a youth team back - particularly as it means I can have one in Football Manager. Previous iterations had a bug that it wouldn't allow you to add your youth team into the youth leagues in Scotland.

ATLIS
Seems like the game is being played at the Mardan Sports Complex in Boztepe, just a wee pitch behind the actual stadium but looks cracking weather

ATLIS
I think Stenhouse is coming on again, getting 15 mins or so. Wonder if he's somewhat close to knocking on the door for a squad place with us
