No innuendo you just shove out any old rhetoric at times to suit your own tune

The fact of the matter is the club is still involved in ownership issues and court cases thats not changed. It's not changed that the ownership issues should not be getting paid for by Livi FC. Fact the club lost almost £500k last year

Seriously have you read last few years accounts or have someone explain them to you?

The reason the new Trust board was put in place was due to the facts above.  My post was an opinion rather than just diss it just think about it for a moment please

So no rhetoric mostly facts 👍

What was Dylan Bahamboula like for you? We seem to have a mystery trialist and that's been the best guess so far.

I thought he was really poor.

Better.........

Pitts was starting to look a bit out of place in the premiership....the drop down might suit him a little and hopefully pushes him to get back to his old hitman self

Thought the drop down helped Nottingham a bit more too. Matty Clarke seems like a Pittman player to me, never outstanding but that 7/10 reliable every game. Tete Yengi may have a bit of the Mengas in him, some glimpses of pure chaos in that game from him today.

Would also add that Shamal had a cracking game today too, really happy for him.

Yeah 1st half was awful, Pars edging it, much better 2nd half and we could've had a few more. Kelly was desperate to score, had a couple of good volleys just before he scored, and his free kick earlier was good too, forcing a save. Lawal too was a breath of fresh air, linked up well with Yengi and played a nice lay off for Yengi to have a shot at goal. Really would prefer Lawal and Green playing instead of Shinnie, both are exciting, positive players.

Good save earlier from Shamal too to keep the clean sheet, thought it was heading in when the Pars player hit it but Shamal did well to palm past the post.

Liam Sole btw, looks like we have a right good player on our hands there. Once he's fit enough to last a full game he'll be even better. Managed to shoulder the absence of Muirhead today very well.

Worth noting that, even after the criticism of his signing, Shinnie was heavily involved for our first goal

Still think Green and Lawal bring far more to the team, they stand out a mile when they play and both look exciting players that make things happen. Martindale was shouting come on Sammy, and then the young fans joined in, he was buzzing about getting involved in everything.

Sole was sharp. His touch, dribbling and passing were excellent. We had good combination play down our right first half. Finlayson, Brandon, Pittman and Yengi all involved but Sole was the spark to it, he looked really on his game today. Kelly stations himself inside left so looks to combine with Shinnie and Clarke. That didn't work out first half partly because Shinnie was rusty but second half we saw much better from that trio down their side.

Montano was an obvious miss today. Nottingham is limited and especially so when on that left side. He's far more comfortable at right back or right centre back. I think McGowan should move across next time. Regarding McGowan, he looks great. His pass through for Smith in the lead up to Kelly's goal was a bonus on top of his usual solid defending.

Martindale might now see Lawal as competing with Shinnie for left mid and I like that idea. Both Shinnie and Lawal showed how they can combine well with Kelly and Yengi. All players on the same wavelength as each other. I'd be delighted if Lawal could be integrated into the first team picture rather than loaned out again.

If Sole is going to be out injured for a while now then that's a blow but Muirhead or Smith can adequately fill that right mid role.

Today we had roughly the same number of attempts at goal as we did against Spartans but nobody is talking about Martindale's "negative tactics". We're creating plenty of chances, we're not conceding many goals and the team are still getting to know each other.

Think the difference was in the 2nd half we started getting balls to Yengi's feet for him to run at goal, 1st half it was punts up to him with his back to goal and no room to turn. He's so much better when he can get the ball passed to him and run up the pitch.

Spartan's was still a different kind of game though, where we had to get past a packed defence, which we did a few times but just couldn't score. Agree with you though, we hit the woodwork twice and forced some saves, it wasn't as if we didn't create chances. A lot of negativity was a knee jerk reaction to a defeat, which imo is a hangover from last season's shitshow. We rarely win our league opener, sometime not winning our 2nd game either, but still do well most seasons, but we really need a good start to the season to recover from last season, Martindale isn't going to get cut any slack.

Thankfully we got a good win, playing some nice stuff 2nd half, giving everyone a lift. Still can see we're a work in progress, but it's looking a bit more positive.

Badura and Hastie back at it having a go at fans once again, a bit slyer this time, but comes across as incredibly unprofessional and embarrassing. Us and against them mentality from them again.

Good interview from Chipper, makes a change hearing good positive comments after the amount of times he had to come out giving post match interviews after defeats.

Like how he says we need to concentrate on what we do, a big weakness from Martindale was overthinking too much on how to stop the opposition, rather than how we can hurt them.
