They’re not the Illuminati FFS. Their determination on who owns the club will be entirely dependent on the what the club tell them. Given that the club are in court to determine that very thing, they can’t tell the SFA anything.
Durnford
7 minutes ago, LIVIFOREVER said: We don't seem to get away with mistakes or poor defending, both Brophy's goals were rockets, and so was their winner. The 3rd should've been avoided by a cynical foul, we had 2 chances to take a player down before it got to their goal scorer, they'd have done it to us, as would most/every team. The giving away cheap goals and a goal or 2 of a start isn't helping, but at least we're scoring goals ourselves now, it isn't as if teams are ripping us apart, we're doing it to ourselves for a lot of it, then having to chase the game, which makes it even easier to get at our goal, with us leaving ourselves more open at the back. I think the small margins in games still make it possible to close the gap again, but if it goes all the way to the last game, and then a play off (if we're lucky), it's going to be a nerve jangling end to the season, putting us through the wringer. I'm not giving up till it's mathematically impossible for us to stay up, hopefully the players feel the same. way. I don't want to be overly harsh but at times it really was amateur hour out there defensively. For the first two goals Brophy was left with acres of space despite already being tagged as one of County's main goal threats. For the third goal it seemed about two thirds of the team were over the left side of the field which left Sims on the right with only an attacking midfielder (Mackay) as cover. What really gets me is we knew well enough before kickoff that county's main threat would come from the speedy pair of Murray and Brophy but give them all the space in the world by playing a high line. TBH - Defensive left has been a problem for a while; both Montano and Penrice can play there but neither can claim that's their specialist area. I'm reluctant to blame Sangare wholly for the first two goals; sure he was at fault; guilty of poor ball control and lack of positional awareness but ultimately that's not his real position; almost as if he's guilty of the Gus Bahoken "play-me-anywhere-so-long-as-you-play-me" mentality.

Down points about yesterday; were certainly the three points but more worrying was perhaps the effect it will have on County morale. previously they were dead and buried; now hey have fight. We still have to play St Johnstone twice and St Mirren once at home; there's a lot still to play for unless of course you want the boys to give up now? our bl00dy habit of giving other teams a two goal head start is a bugger; the first one was wholly avoidable. Also Martindale saying premier survival would be his greatest achievement is hardly something that would encourage and motivate the team. We started poorly possibly partially due to the team travelling up on the day rather the night before (possibly another costs thing); the second half was encouraging but for me the biggest positive was Bruce Anderson getting his mojo back. If he can kick on then we've got more than a chance. Defensively is still a huge concern particularly on the left side I admire your optimism.

In order to have the slimmest of chances of staying up, we need to win three more games than Ross County. Not just 3 games out of 11 remaining - but 3 games MORE than Ross County. Unless of course weren’t expecting Ross County to pick up no more points between now and the end of the season. Sounds even more daunting when put like that, but one of those post split games is County at home, which could put us ahead of them with GD (if all goes well in our final pre split game), after winning just 2 more games than them (including that head to head game). We've 3 home games in the final 5 post split fixtures, as stands they would be against County, St Johnstone & Hibs. The away fixtures aren't so good for us right enough, Motherwell & Aberdeen, not places we're likely to take pts.

Aye that Lambert relegation season was the lowest point for me, he had given up, standing muted with his arms folded, and clearly just wanted to get it over with so he could GTF away from us. The Hibs away mauling was the final straw that broke him. There is still some fight in this team, with the players and manager still trying. As you're quoting him i can see what's posted, the Livi character seems to be revelling in Hogarth and Sumner causing Ward and Martindale trouble, hamstringing their plans to move forward and bring in new investment, but what exactly does Hogarth and Sumner bring if they win control of Livingston fc, does he know their grand plans for moving the club forward, or does he just hate Ward that much he doesn't care what happens to Livingston fc.

Durnford
St Johnstone have a pretty tight run in to the split (possibly discounting ourselves) but not as tight as Motherwell; if we do manage to beat them on Wednesday (yes; I know its a big "if") then they're right back in the mix. That being said we'll likely have to play them away and we dont have the best record at Motherwell but there's at least a chance. Leastways for St Johnstone and County both games SHOULD be at home.

RandomGuy.
Beat us twice and your 2pts off safety at worst. I dont think you understand how much we'll implode if you beat us on Saturday. The crowd has turned on Levein and this group of players already.

All well and good in theory but we can't win games in the first place. We've got a habit of opening up games as the better team, dominating and then an individual error at the back has us behind and the heads go down. We give teams chances even if they wont make them themselves.

Any momentum we do get seems to relax the players who take their foot off the gas and we start giving teams 2 goal head starts

How much have you seen of us lately? People seem to be thinking Levein + boring football = defensively sound. While really we're just leaving huge gaps all over the place, particularly in the middle of the park.

Think we were down 3-1 by HT. Then we have Ross County away, 2-0 down 30 minutes in and throw it away after getting it back to 2-2. The squad has no nerves at all. I can think, in the last two games alone, 5 or 6 clear cut chances we've given away. 3 of them have been putting an opponent in 1 on 1 with Shamal.

Players out of position and the only urgency we have is when we're two down
