any update in this? many players affected?

Somebody said there were only about five players fully fit but that was earlier in the week.

As far as I understand this will be a game where Neil Hastings/Brian Rice is in charge whilst Martindale is in Switzerland. Shame we wont have a fully fit side; would be interesting to see the contrast.

Aye saw that. Would be some laugh if we manage to win, would really ramp up the wild calls for Rice to take over.

Be interesting to see if it's Hastings or Rice that is in charge tomorrow.

I am a little surprised given our current league predicament that the manager is not here

Penrice posting on his Instagram that he's down in Leicester, wonder if he's getting a deal sorted with a side down that way

Martindale mentioned him going to see a specialist recently. Might be for that.

If Donnellan is anywhere near fit, it's a complete pisstake that Martindale thinks playing Sean Kelly at centre back is an option after all the failed attempts since he signed. I'd even consider Devlin playing over him and that's saying something.

If he has any respect for the club, the fans, and probably most importantly - himself - he comes away from that and realises he isn't turning it around and either takes a coaching/DoF role or walk away altogether.

No point typing this all out again. He needs to walk.

A few weeks back I said there was hope because the team were still battling unlike the time we were getting relegated from the SPL. That time the team were totally devoid of ideas; couldn't string two passes together and had no cohesive movement.

At the time I thought there was a difference to the team we had now - the only thing that now seems different are the names. Least-ways Lambert walked last time.

Nothing changed for me, I already know we're down

Does for me; that was one of the worst displays I think I've ever seen from a Livi side. i appreciate sickness was rife but that was worse than embarrassing.

One thing surely we can all agree on is that Martindale should now do the decent thing and walk 🤷‍♂️

I see he's flung ricey under the bus again by putting him up for interview, while he's not appearing on the LFC post match YouTube interview......again !!

Ideally that should have happened weeks ago.

I'm not going to start on about what should have happened and what we should have done; certainly not tonight but I must admit I was disappointed to see Martindale in the dugout. I had hoped for some of Hastings/Rice drive or even something different.

He must think that Livi fans are dim.

From various interviews post match he has no intention of walking which is probably what we all thought would be the case.

Sad times

I don’t normally read too much into post match interviews, from any manager. They’re usually full of cliches like “go again next week” or some other guff. Over the couple of post match interviews I’ve seen this evening though, Martindale has said that he’s taking responsibility, whilst at the same time blaming “individual errors”.

I’ve deliberately kept my thoughts on him to myself since he came into the club. I didn’t go over the top with praise for him when we were in the top 6, whilst at the same time admitting that getting us there was an incredible feat. I’ll admit that for me, it’s a personal thing. I don’t like his character, his (alleged) man management methods I can’t stand, and his criminal past repulses me. He didn’t make mistakes - his crimes were deliberate and calculated. I’m aware that I might sound petty or narrow minded in that view but frankly, after today, I don’t give a shit.

That he is still in post is a joke. I know why though - it’s because he’s in control of the lot. Only thing is, he’s in control of something that is wildly out of control.
