Enigma
I sautéed a slice tuna steak in a teriyaki sauce (40ml Mirin, 40ml sake, 2tbs Soy, 1 tbs sugar) for my lunch and further experimented with a BBQ recipe and grilled scallops wrapped in streaky bacon on skewers, they were delicious, as was the tuna! I'm making gyudon rice bowl (thinly sliced beef, onion and a soy, Mirin and sugar sauce) tomorrow for dinner, I'll have to do a veg side dish but haven't decided what yet. I have some scallops left over an my sister was keen to try one of my skewers, I'm tempted to make myself had her pork and beef mince tsukune as well as the remaining scallops and bacon. Enigma
Cooked a risotto with wild mushrooms, red onion, chicken thigh meat and bacon lardons, white wine and bullion stock. Giabatta on the side and enough left over for tomorrow's lunch! I think I might fry the left over risotto in balls or in patties but there's a small venison steak in the fridge and I want to cook that teriyaki style with rice. Decisions man. Venti
Various Simon Howie of Perth items on rolls. Not as good as McCaskies of Wemyss Bay, but nonetheless a tribute to the Saints.
