Hmm. As excellent as Froome was today, I am not sure Sky want the hassle of defending a yellow jersey every day from now until Paris. It might not be a huge shock if they let Tony Martin (or someone else who isn't a GC contender) nick a few seconds and the yellow jersey, so another team can have the bother of trying to defend it until the team time trial.

Sagan or Martin in yellow tomorrow night wouldn't be a huge shock, but there will be a lot of people fighting for stage win and green points, might not be possible for Froome to lose the jersey.

GVA is another high placed rider who'd be a big favourite for stage victory tomorrow.

Froome just needs to worry about getting over the pave tomorrow, especially if the weather forecast rain for comes about.

As for the crash, amazed any of them could ride 50K after that. Must be the drugs.

Well, we know Nibali's good on the pave, & probably one of THE best bike handlers in the wet.

If Sky can neutralise this then its a big +. Thomas to guide Froome all the way.

Fuksake riding on with two broken vertebrae puts other sports, esp footballers to shame. Remember Vinokourov being put back on his bike with a broken pelvis after coming off on a descent a number of years ago. Or indeed Contador last year.

Opens up tomorrows stage a bit, shame Thomas won't have a free hand for the stage

Just watched the first three days after being away for the weekend. Shaping up already to be a fascinating three weeks. Hope Froome has a tough day today and Alberto, Nibs etc eat into his lead a bit.

Shame for Fabian, but typical strength and guts to finish yesterday.
