kiddy
Disappointed in Kristoff's form. He's been worse than Cav! Though if fit, Kittle would have murdered them all.
kiddy
Next major move in GC can only be TTT in my book. The last two stages have been insipid. IMO, whilst a spectacle for the public, the TTT shouldn't count toward GC. Fair enough, have these stages in the Grand Tours, but separate them from the competition in general. Award a trophy for each & give them points toward an overall year long comp through the UCI.
kiddy
Martin's out, open fracture of the collarbone. Froome in Yellow, again.
peasy23
Martin's out, open fracture of the collarbone. Froome in Yellow, again. Gutted for him after working his arse off to get into yellow. Going to be a few teams who may struggle in the TTT as they will be short of bodies.
peasy23
Seems Nibali thought Froome had caused the crash and he flung a water bottle at him, he later apologised to Froome. Watching it again this morning it's still one of the stranger crashes you will see, still can't see what caused Martin to veer so sharply to the right and go down.
peasy23
Froome not wearing yellow, not the first time that someone who has taken over the lead due to another rider's withdrawal has opted not to wear it. Contador managed to crash in the neutral zone this morning.

Gogs Grog
Great sprint by Cav. Who needs a lead out train just use griepel.
Desert Nomad
Told you he was finished.
Bishop Briggs
^ Without Martin, Cavendish's lead-out train is screwed. He might be better off just following Greipel's wheel anyway. Kristoff has a similar opportunistic strategy. Great sprint by Cav. Who needs a lead out train just use griepel. He had no alternative after losing Renshaw yet again. QS should tell Boonen to ride for Cav but the chances of that happening are very slim.
Desert Nomad
Luca Paolini has tested positive for cocaine must've been some party after Purito's stage win.
well fan for life
Luca Paolini has tested positive for cocaine must've been some party after Purito's stage win. Usually you get the EPO, Cortisone dopers getting nicked midway round. But getting papped out for doing ching is an absolute cracker.
kiddy
Looks like boiling down to the drag race up the Mur du Bretagne today. Evans won here in his way to the Yellow in Paris back in 2011.
peasy23
Luca Paolini has tested positive for cocaine must've been some party after Purito's stage win. Just reading that if he had tested positive outside of competition then he would have got away with a slap on the wrist. Cocaine can stay in the system for around 3 weeks, and at 38 then he could well be finished.
kiddy
France gets its first winner of this tour with AG2Rs Villermoz taking the stage after attacking on the climb to the finish. Nibali giving up some more seconds, 10 on a second watch? Edited July 11, 2015 by kiddy

kiddy
Just noticed Sagan blocked a Bertie attack as he swung across the road in front of him! Oleg'll be raging LOL. Edited July 11, 2015 by kiddy
kiddy
Think so. Froome in cruise control there. Not quite, as he had a wobble (akin to Tony Martin's) which almost took out Dan Martin as he attacked up his outside. peasy23
TTT today, could be quite a big difference in times as it's quite a lumpy course. No major climbs but enough ups and downs to cause problems, especially for teams who are a man or two down. IMO van Garderen will be in yellow tonight.
