Just going by what I've seen on Spanish TV. For by that, Kennaugh & Porte touring along in the 2nd group on the road 4 mins down. Saving it for later in proceedings?

As I said, feck all happening stage wise, Cav punctured & Morabito came off, that is all.

Greipel takes the sprint fairly comfortably. Clearly the form sprinter, can't see Cav picking up anything. Only Sagan likely to challenge him for Green by Paris.

Think Cav needs a change of tactics. He's burning out his team too early & maybe needs to wing it off the back of others. Degenkolb's been notably absent from the sprints too.

Think its a little early to say Cav has finished at the top level. He certainly won't have that dominance of a few years ago and record of stage wins at TdF probably is too much now. Etixx haven't quite got it right yet. Having said that think Sagan will win today.

Put a couple of quid on Uran at 100/1 each way thought odds were to good value to miss. Banking on a couple of the top 4 crashing out.

This. Greipel has found his best form this year. He's been impressive in the intermediate sprints too. Sagan has been doing domestique work for Contador too. Otherwise he could have won yesterday.

I'm very disappointed with Cavendish in the stages so far. His partnership with Mark Renshaw as his last lead-out man has lost its usual reliability. With his QS contract ending this year, Cav has to win at least two stages.

Kittel (if fully fit and selected) would have challenged Greipel, Cav and Sagan on the very flat stages.

Martin down on the final climb, still hasn't got back on the back yet. He will still get the same time as the rest though.

Edit: he's being pushed up the hill by his team mates.

Stybar takes it after Tony Martin goes down taking a few with him splitting the peleton in the final 1km. Tony Martin looks like he's done his collarbone.

Collarbone or shoulder, looks like he could struggle to start tomorrow.

Wasn't as if he touched wheels, but a fairly major barge into the man directly to his right. Can only imagine he might have selected the wrong gear, or his cleat came out.

Edit - Tony Martin has confirmed that he's broken his collarbone and sais "we will discuss further steps". He could start tomorrow to honour the yellow jersey and then abandon.

I can't understand why Sagan just watched Stybar ride away without challenging him.

I guess he knew he would just drag everyone else up to Stybar and get jumped at the line.

Delighted for Stybar, big fan of his tbh. Martin out will be a blow for both Cav in his lead out train. Also team time trail for Etixx and Uran have lost a big man.
