Musketeer Gripweed
It was always due to go over the Croix de Fer today.
Bishop Briggs
Froome has lost most of his domestiques and is vulnerable to an attack from Quintana and Valverde.
Gnash
Quintana attacks on the last climb and finally gets some time on Froome. He gains 30 seconds... so that means he's still 2 min 38 sec behind Froome. Just gives him a glimmer of hope for tomorrow. Contador and Valverde are blown away. Well done Nibali who wins the stage and climbs to 4th.
Desert Nomad
Froome has lost it saying Nibali is a c**t for attacking him when he had a mechanical. Is Nibali not something like 8 minutes behind? My prediction is that Froome will go bananas tomorrow and stick a minute into Quintana and three into anybody else. Nibali might attack early to cause a reaction then sit up later. Edited July 24, 2015 by Desert Nomad

Yeah, not sure why Froome was moaning, but to be fair Nibali claiming he didn't see Froome stop was ridiculous.
Cruyff14
Is it not slightly hypocritical from Froome? Anyway, the chap wanted a stage win.
kiddy
Think Quintana's chance has gone. He needed to be finishing with Nibali to have any chance tomorrow. That he never followed Nibali, & put Froome under serious pressure, speaks volumes.
kiddy
On today's stage, Nibali's celebration was almost Landisesque!
kiddy
Quintana allegedly went up La Toussuire in record time!
Joey Jo Jo Junior Shabadoo
Took this guy Geniez at 100-1. Into 16-1 now but still, surely not. We live in hope. I think Quintana is a nap today. ETA: Took a wee bit of Pinot at 11-1 too. Looking good alright dodgy good now. Yay! Compliment Sandwich
Quintana puts a minute into the abnormal Froome The fans made their feelings pretty clear of Froome all the way up the Alpe d'Huez - ITV commentary must have missed that as there was no mention of it!
milhouse
Froome not a very popular winner...booed all the way up Alpe d'Huez this afternoon. In fairness I did find Nairo Quintana's hell-bent dancing on the pedals attack much more exciting than the clinical/marginal gains Team Sky grind which is quite Armstrong/US Postal-esque
yoda
They weren't booming him, they were saying "Froooooooooooooome".
Desert Nomad
I remember Valverde beating Armstrong up Courchevel years ago, he looked even stronger today. Nae bather.

The guy on Eurosport didn't - he was pretty much greeting as they crossed the line after a long, fawning ode to Froome.

AberdeenBud
How much did Quintana lose in the early cross wind stage? That's probably cost him the tour, looked like had Froome's number the last couple of stages.
