kiddy
Clear to see that he just doesn't like the wet conditions.Spent too many years in a velodrome & not enough riding classics. Probably the main reason Evans is showing up so well just now.Looking at it from another angle, should the weather improve, the others may well regret not putting Wiggins to the sword. Astana & BMC forced the pace and coudn't distance him, with Heneao & Uran looking like plan B for Sky.Better in his shoes though, than Hesjedals. Shipped more time today.
T_S_A_R
david walsh calling out alex dowsett for his comments on armstrong in the sunday times today. completely at odds with how he deals with wiggins worshipping lance in public right up to june 2012 even though vaughters said wiggins knew lance was a huge cheat in 2009. walsh is losing credibility fast.
T_S_A_R
epic stage today. uran is surely the new sky leader. it looks evans vs nibali for the win.
kiddy
epic stage today. uran is surely the new sky leader. it looks evans vs nibali for the win. Considering Froome nursed him around France last year. Was "Wait on the leader" lost in translation today?

kiddy
Trying to catch highlights of the Giro has been horrendous. Usually on Eurosport around 11.00pm, but the Tour of California has just started at that time. Try around 8.00 am the next morning. On the subject of the ToC, yesterdays stage was brutal, a MT finish in temps of 122 deg F. Everyone was being wheeled off on crossing the line & some poor Belgian from OPQS looked like he had keeled over & was heading for hospital somewhere on the climb. Hesjedal was look right up for it in the first few days. But he's performing like a coo now.
T_S_A_R
Terrible tactics from sky yesterday. There was no need for them to set the pace up the first climb and by doing so they have taken Heano out the equation. It Is also funny how sitsou, cataldo and zandio were all dropped on cat 3s last week but were shredding the peloton on the first climb after the rest day. The peloton are taking it pretty easy today and there is even a sky man in the break. Hopefully there wil be attacks from the faves on the final short climb.

Desert Nomad
Brilliant from Cav there, nobody else had a chance. Wonder if Wiggins will congratulate him on his 100th career win?

Desert Nomad
Cav does it again, victory 101! Something quite superb about him setting records away from Sky.
T_S_A_R
Cav does it again, victory 101! Something quite superb about him setting records away from Sky. he was saying after that he didn't want to chase today but the team made them do. lefevre is a madman, i always remember footage of him going through the rest of the quickstep team because they couldn't climb like virenque! interesting that wiggins and hydjesal both pulled out citing illness. possibly a consequence of being seriously underweight, they both look unhealthy. vaughters said the other day that RH started this giro at the weight he finished at last year.
kiddy
I await the English press clamour for him to lead Sky at the Tour now. He'd better hope it doesn't rain there, shitebag.I can see Froome having to make his attempt on his own, without team support, like Contador had to do against Lance.
T_S_A_R
nibali looking strong. if cadel loses time tomorrow it's over.
Desert Nomad
Nibali has it in the bag. Laying Wiggins is the easiest money I've made. Cav having a go at conditions as is his want, while also getting another dig in at Sky saying his teammates now are best he's ever had. I think Nibbles will take out the Galibier stage. ETA: it appears the Col du Mont-Cenis & Galibier have been pulled due to heavy snow. Edited May 19, 2013 by Desert Nomad
kiddy
Cav still trying to add the cyclamino jersey, for the set.As for snow, the Giro's starting to wimp out. I can mind of Hampsten winning in a snow storm.
