Ranaldo Bairn
Aye, me too. Only heard of one or two and I'm moderately clued up on that scene. I loved 2015 but skipped it last year, and its going to be LOTL for me again in April.
NorthernLights
Toxicity is 15 years old this week, that makes me feel old!
NorthernLights
Just back from Heck and Black Peaks. Heck almost had their set stopped half way through as someone, who I assume was the manager of the venue stormed onto the stage as a result of the carnage that had happened

They were throwing their mics into the overhead LED lights. And were climbing all over the bar. It was a really good night!

But I'll be there. It's the BoS tour so the set will be heavy with them. At Download they played 6 songs from BoS. Namely; If Enternity Should Fail Speed of Light Tears of a Clown The Red & The Black Death or Glory The Book of Souls ------------- I'd swap Death or Glory with When the River Runs Deep. Apart form that all good I'll be there anyway.
NorthernLights
Hopefully they play Aberdeen again. If it is a 12 date then I'm hopeful, the Final Frontier UK tour was 11 dates according to the Wiki article and they played Aberdeen on that tour.
bennett
I'd like to see them delve more into brave new world and dance of death along with the obvious classics, plus a few new songs too.
NorthernLights
Bolt Thrower have split up following the death of their drummer, Martin Kearns last year. I feel lucky to have been able to see them at Damnation Festival in 2014. http://loudwire.com/bolt-thrower-announce-breakup-one-year-anniversary-drummers-death/

They did quite a few of the newer ones last time at SECC. Wicker man, BRave new world and blood brothers at least. Quite liked BOS so looking forward to it. River runs deep needs to be included tho. Bruce has lost a bit of range recently, won't be long till they start down tuning

NorthernLights
New Anaal Nathrakh. Probably the dumbest thing I read on Facebook today was someone claiming Anaal Nathrakh had become a metalcore band.

NorthernLights
Maiden tour is announced tomorrow. Fingers crossed the poster that leaked is 100% spot on. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-37438005 Sounds like they'll be going down the Biffy route of your credit/debit card being your way of actually getting into the gig. While I totally understand the reasons and I've been ripped off for gigs before by having to pay over the odds for tickets I do miss not getting a paper ticket to keep as a memento. Having said that my ticket for the last time Maiden played Aberdeen in 2011 accidentally went through the wash the day after the gig
NorthernLights
Tickets on sale next week but there are various pre-sales before. I'll get my ticket in the O2 one which next Wednesday. Tickets are almost £55.
IainMorton
Contemplating either the Glasgow and Aberdeen shows in consecutive days, or Newcastle and Glasgow as there is a day in between. Decisions, decisions...
