Anyone ever heard of Havok? I've just stumbled on to them, they sound brilliant!

Total thrash

Yes, the album Burn is pretty good, if you liked them check out:

Hexen - State of Insurgency

Violator - Chemical Assault

Volcano - Violent

Dekapitator - We Will Destroy..You Will Obey!/ The Storm Before the Calm

Eliminator - Breaking the Wheel

Nuclear - Ten Broken Codes

Mantic Ritual - Executioner

Thats all i got for now.

EDIT: Should also add Ballistic - Ballistic, more heavy/speed than thrash, but really fucking good.

KILL YOUR GODS

SOMETHING ABOUT GODS

I DON'T LIKE GOD

CAUSE I'M IN A HEAVY METAL BAND

Is this that song?

Could it be any other?

I've really warmed to Steve Hill. I normally listen to podcasts while I'm on the buses in town and I get funny looks as I desperately try and stop myself from laughing during the Metal Hammer podcast. I love his impression of John Davis.

The Phil Anselmo one was great.

Next month is really busy for me. In the space of about 4 weeks I'll attend the amount of gigs I normally attend in a year.

Lacuna Coil - Lemon Tree, Aberdeen - 9th November

Opeth - Picture House, Edinburgh - 10th November

Dimmu Borgir - Classic Grand, Glasgow - 18th November

Kvelertak - ABC, Glasgow - 24th November

DoF III - O2 Academy, Glasgow - 6th December

It should be an epic few weeks.

Got Volbeat 24 of this month and also going to the Opeth gig.

Should have been going to Turisas, but Celtic vs Rennes is the same night and thankfully because of the concert date change i was able to get my money back.

still baulking at Manowar (£40 a ticket is pretty steep) and Machine Head (i can only imagine the arseholes this gig will attract especially with BMTH as support, and with it being in the SECC there no place to really back off and still get a good view like the O2 abc)

You're fucking kidding me! I had tickets to see them last year when they cancelled! I'm actually gutted that I can't go to that gig.

Adding Machine Head, Wolves in the Throne Room, Frank Turner and Mogwai completes my line up. Amazing imo.

Bit worried about the 'peth though, their current setlist is underwhelming to say the least.

Good man! I'd never have known if you hadn't posted that.

Thats Machine Head, Def Leppard/Motley Crue/Steel Panther and then Mastodon lined up in the next coupla months. That should make up for missing out on my metal fix this summer since I skipped Download, and made the awful decision of choosing TITP over Sonisphere. I stilll cant for the life of me understand why I did that.

I've seen Machine Head and Mastodon before, both at Download and then supporting Metallica at Wembley. But that was in the scorching sun down south, so I cant even imagine what Machine Head will be like indoors. And I never really appreciated Mastodon at the time, so up close in the sweaty Barras should be good too.

Canny wait.

I did the exact same man, went to Download 06,07,08,09 & 10 and missed 11 cuz the lineup was sh*te and went to TiTP, but TOTALLY should've went to Soni. Think i'll be kicking myself for the rest of my days with that one.
