I kn ow that. But it was just a bit too convienient that Sam found the information out very quickly. Looks like Jon has forgotten anyway as he's got everyone away mining for the stuff now.
Stellaboz
There'll be more he finds out, possibly to his death (Sam) or even Gilly might find something helpful. I felt queezy at that bloody montage of his training though [emoji1] [emoji40]
Musketeer Gripweed
He is definetely curing Jorah anyway, just like I had hoped. Agreed, that montage was a bit much to watch at 5am. Gave me the boak as well.
BradHorse
Wasn't mad keen on it but only the first episode so not writing it off at all. The Ed Sheeran inclusion was a mistake. It would have been inconsequential if he'd been in the background somewhere but it was just very, very obviously Ed Sheeran doing a bad job of acting. Totally took me out the 'suspended disbelief' mode.
Quentin Taranbino
If Wun Wun died at Winterfell, how is he back as a whitewalker?

HoBNob
Nice little nod to the "gravedigger" book theory. Good spot. Why is it that the faceless men aren't relentlessly trying to kill Arya? She's left with allot of there secrets and is being quite reckless with it.
NotThePars
The only reason the Sheeran bit didn't totally suspend my disbelief is that he's f**k ugly enough to be a random commoner in Westeros.
Mr. Brightside
There's more than one giant out there. Technically not a White Walker either but hey ho.Who is Hodor Wight going to kill then?
D'Jaffo
Technically not a White Walker either but hey ho.Who is Hodor Wight going to kill then? Bran for being a selfish dick and letting him sacrifice himself. Hodor was the prince that was promised and was destined to sit on the throne.
Red 'N Yellow
Watched it this morning, thought it was a good intro to the new series and I enjoy the slower paced episodes even if there's no fights/battles etc. Looking forward to seeing how Jaime reacts to Cersei becoming batshit mental, pretty sure he'll be the one to kill her in the end. Interested to see what happens with the Gendry when he appears, would like to see at least one Baratheon carry on the name 2 hours ago, Grant228 said: Good spot. They've fucked up the faceless men in the show, Arya just shits on them and wanders off which they seem fine with for some reason. Think it's something the show writers are brushing under the carpet tbh.
Christophe
Not sharing the Sheeran scene hate. It was the most obvious of all the cameos they've done, but it was fine. Great opening scene, overall I enjoyed it but didn't think it was great. Seemed to be one of the get all the pieces in place episodes. Good to see Strutter and his crew back. The Hound is dead. Solid episode. -
Musketeer Gripweed
OK, can we start discussing it soon then?

Yes, didn't Jon Snow walk past Mag's body when going to speak to Manse after the Wildling attack on the wall in season 4? We assume he dies from the attack in the tunnel but obviously he staggered out to the north side before collapsing. Could it be him? Stannis wasnt around then, he swept in while Jon was speaking to Manse. Would have been left up to the rest of the Watch to do that, whether anyone had the gumption or not to nip out beyond the wall and light the big yin on fire is up for debate. Certainly Jon recommends to Stannis he burns the men lost when they swept in on the wildlings. Edited July 17, 2017 by Christophe -
Stellaboz
Aye but there'll have been fucking more of them over the years way up in uncharted territory. Also the Sheerin scene was fine, f**k all wrong with him or it, as said before it was bringing Arya's humility back into focus. Which was nice.

Musketeer Gripweed
Stannis killed the wrong Shireen IMO.
