Whitburn 0 v 1 Sauchie

Pretty poor game but Sauchie come away with a win after a late goal puts us into the next round . Whitburn are a decent side who'll win more than they'll lose . Good luck for the rest of the season .

They don't like artificial surfaces but said it was one of the better ones . It's not a place to watch a game though .

Spoke to more players today and they said it was terrible , so the majority didn't like it while a few said it was OK.

Not a fan of artificial surfaces myself, though know others swear by them.

Kelty are supposed to be getting one laid soon which is a shame considering how well our grass pitch is looking & holding up these days since the money was spent on it.

Watched the video of the Sauchie v Whitburn match, the ball didn't look as if it was running true at times.

Not sure players really let the throttle out on that type surface either?

Definitely some kind of an advantage for teams who are used to playing on it though.

Nitten 2 v 0 Sauchie

Sauchie fought well and went in at half time 0-0 . Second half started when Sauchie went down to 10 men when Ash was given a red for what the ref saw as a last man foul . After that Nitten piled it on and scored 2 to come out on top . If we'd have kept 11 on the park the game was there to win as we hit the post and the bar in an eventful match . Fauldhouse next in a game we need to win . That's us played the top 4 and Kelty were the best with Nitten the least impressive which came as a surprise as I expected more from them .

May it not have been the case that Sauchie played well Taurus. Seen the game today first in a few weeks and was very impressed wa Sauchie. Played a good passing game and caused nitten real bother. Even when they went to ten men Sauchie could still of win it but nitten were more clinical.
