BinoBalls
They'll pounce on "necks" instead of "knees", in order to prove that the entire thing's a fabrication. I had exactly the same thought. If I recall correctly, the video on the news I saw was Findlay just joining in with all the other fans at the party in the billy boys sing song. He wasn't doing a solo with a mic or anything. Maybe that's why youngsy is insisting he only sang The Sash. There's an interview with him where he says he considered suicide, hardly the words of man who sang one "non-sectarian" song.

I'm sure he did grab the mic for 'The Billy Boys'. We'd better ask Youngsy.

Njord
They'll pounce on "necks" instead of "knees", in order to prove that the entire thing's a fabrication. Nope, that's the original. They toned it down over the years.
Monkey Tennis
Nope, that's the original. They toned it down over the years. Is that right? Ach, that's nice. They no longer wish to spill and wallow in quite as much blood from Catholics.
bennett
Because Spiers is one of you and belted it out on the terraces. Dammit the only thing that rhymes is door hinge He also wore his Rangers colours in the broomloan with the Celtic fans and they encouraged him to support his team. It's not contradictory at all. I'm not 100% certain, but I feel very confident indeed that Spiers is not making this up. I'm virtually certain of it. That does contradict your earlier quoted post.
Vanderlei
From my recollection of the video, Findlay did sing the 'billy boys' song. I found it even more embarrassing as Neil McCann was standing directly in front of the bold Donald. Thankfully, he no longer represents the club in any way.
Monkey Tennis
That does contradict your earlier quoted post. How so? I'm really not saying anything complicated here and I've not altered my stance a bit. Based on the available evidence, I'm strongly of the belief that Spiers is telling the truth about a director having said that 'The Billy Boys' is a great song.

You said you're not "100% certain", while in a previous post you said " Clearly, it wasn't made up. Clearly, a director did in fact say this thing" Contradictory right enough.

Or B/ he would've been up go Donald's knees true enough.

Insaintee
Can you lot maybe take this shite off to your wee sub forum please. I've no interest in who thinks who is the worst. To the rest of Scotland you're as bad as each other. Not true Celtic have been a sectarian disgrace since 1888 The Rangers have only been at it since 2012
Insaintee
There you go again, 'pretty sure' that's all and once again you're wrong and as someone who was there at the Cup Final night in the Edmiston, as i was at many before and after, Donald Findlay sang one song,' The Sash My Father Wore', at a private party which was no business of anyone else who wasn't in the vicinity. So isn't there something about hangin the pope with an orange rope in the sash? Apologies if I've got my bigoted hate filled songs mixed up
Insaintee
You should write to Div, get all these folk with a differing viewpoint banned. That'd prove you were right. Or get Div to print an apology on their behalf

Apart from all the people singing it the other week.
