hellbhoy
Regardless of any CVA outcome , there was and still is nothing stopping rangers from paying their debts or even a % of it !!but then that would require dignity. If the great Whyte shark had any dignity ? ,he could have at the start of season 2011/2012 sold off 5 or 6 highest earners to alleviate the debt structure at Ibrox not only saving on the huge wage bill but would have given the club some financial footing with cash in the bank instead of chasing rainbows in the Champions League and then the Europa League.Whyte chose to renegotiate the handful of EBT enhanced receiving players and go for broke in Europe . But what if Wyhte had gone for financial prudence and sold off the highest earners and then the weakened squad struggled in the SPL ???,any takers ? .
youngsy
Fat Sally getting pumped out of Europe and a complete lack of cash; that and Murray not giving a flying f*ck who he sold the club to after he screwed it into the ground after Lloyds said no more. Of course you think he was duped. Are you for real? Are you seriously suggesting that I think Murray was duped? I know exactly where Rangers financial problems stemmed from and I for one have no intention of defending Murray in any way whatsoever.

AberdeenBud
Who put them out again? Was it Marabor or Kaunus Was it not both? Another delicious piece of irony in the death of Rangers. If McCoist wasn't such an utterly terrible manager they may have limped on till the end of the season and avoided some of the distressing circumstances of their mid season administration/liquidation. McCoist must stay. Forever.

CityDave
Was it not both? Another delicious piece of irony in the death of Rangers. If McCoist wasn't such an utterly terrible manager they may have limped on till the end of the season and avoided some of the distressing circumstances of their mid season administration/liquidation. McCoist must stay. Forever. Not disputing what your saying there, but had Fat Sally been slightly more competent it would have made little difference to Craig Whyte's business plan for the club. Just like Craig Whyte's business plans for all the other companies he had run. Any money that had been made from an extra round or two would have still been kept away from the HMRC anyway. Its one of football's great mysteries how Craig Whyte managed to blind side everyone at the club despite the glaringly obvious warnings from all directions. But then an attempt to expose Craig Whyte for the liar and fraud he was, was a direct attack on Rangers FC itself to which the BBC bared the brunt with threats of legal action, something to which was never carried through and a sorry episode of contempt by Rangers that still continues today. Rangers still have never apologized for this, despite Craig Whyte sending the club into liquidation and the BBC being proved correct. Fat Sally played his sorry part in this as well. ~British Patriot~
They have the armed forces day as well as the remembrance day. Yes, we pay our respects, Fergus. Your team wouldn't know the meaning of respect though.
