Monkey Tennis
Yes but numbers swell and ebb with weekly results ... but numbers are dwindling in the Ally camp ... a trend that needs reversing .. We only have ourselves to blame by mocking him. You're right. It's time for us to start a concerted campaign of displaying grudging respect for McCoist. Ideally, we should aim to betray subtle signs of fear about what this manager can achieve, given a tail wind for a change. After all, his record is bloody good. Successive titles, challenge cup finals and Scottish Cup semis, with the quadruple still on this season. I for one, am alarmed at how crafty and smart a boss Rangers currently have at the helm. Rangers' real challenge will be keeping a hold of him.
K Dodd
And it was Ben Nevis that invested in the buns, NOT King. Even they said he was associated with them. Spin spin spin... http://www.murray-international.co.uk/news_archive/rangers_football_club/news02.htm And it was all a big cover up to keep the tax authorities at arms length.
Jacksgranda
did it pass the Fit and Proper Feline test? I've a feline that some might not appreciate that joke.
aDONisSheep
Shurely shome mishtake! "In a letter issued to shareholders of Rangers Football Club today (30 March, 2000), David Murray, the Club Chairman stated that Rangers is aiming to raise up to £53.1 million in cash, before expenses, through a Rights Issue." "....the Board considers the Rights Issue to be in the best interests of the Club, its shareholders and supporters." Shareholders of what? It's almost as if Murray International didn't know about the company only operated the 'pretendy, no legal personality, exists on an ethereal plane' club. Monkey Tennis
rm are on the whole clueless and part of the herd mentality that exists among supporters at the once proud club Was there ever a period when the "once proud club" wasn't followed by huge swathes of utter wallopers though? Can't say I remember it.
Magoo9uk
Ally is just like a wee rent boy in a public lavvie. He'll allow himself to be humiliated, sodomised and facialised by anyone who has the filthy lucre. The football is just a distraction from his moneymaking. This post probably tells us more about the person who posted it than it does about Alistair Murdoch McCoist MBE....????
The DA
I see Ally McCoist is giving his backing to King's investment ... how many is that now? This is the same scumbag that 'was only here to talk about the football'? What's changed? R-E-S-P-E-C-T.

Your next challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to unearth the comments he's made in favour of each of these guys. Photos don't necessarily establish quite how weasly he's been. I'll even allow you to steal the quotes from someone who stole them - that's just the kind of guy I am.

Monkey Tennis
i think posters on here are becoming far too excited at the immanent arrival of dave king and the big wad of cash he will bring. Ally said : "I’m extremely keen to hear and see investment come in to the club. I would totally back any investment from any party at all that was accepted by the board and indeed the shareholders." so its not as if he is preferring king to any other investor, he even mentions he wants as many investors as possible, he doesnt care where this investment comes from McCoist truly is beyond help.

Bing (2)
given he earns more in a week than most of us earn in a year he probably doesn't need any fair play to him earning as much as he does with his level of talent and potential. So you admire Whyte and Green then by that standard. Glad you cleared that up.

You keep coming back to this. Of course he's earned scandalous money for performing poorly in his role. That makes him open to criticism, rather than somehow above it though.

Bing (2)
the mccann model should have been close to what charles green should have done. Ah, so the pre season trip to Portugal, leaving ally in the hotel and going for a few pints routine it is then...
