nsr
Any suggestions how long it'll be before the Visigoths realise King is just another spiv and start lambasting the SFA for declaring him 'fit and proper'?
stonedsailor
Any suggestions how long it'll be before the Visigoths realise King is just another spiv and start lambasting the SFA for declaring him 'fit and proper'? A long time. They will keep pumping money in now until it all goes tits up again. They will be warned all the way but won't believe it until the sheriff's officers are papped on the steps of Ibrox.
Ludo*1
Anyone hear Bomber Brown make a fool of himself - once again - on Sportsound. Basically blaming Spence and Tom English for not doing enough digging on Craig Whyte at the time, and overdigging on Dave King.

Gaz FFC
The timing of Ashleys move puts pressure on the club prior to the annual renewal of season tickets, which cannot begin until Rangers know whether they will play in the Scottish Championship or Premiership next season.Didn't stop Hibs 14 months ago.Didn't stop Hibs this summer either. Or Rangers for that matter in 2012 Edited May 20, 2015 by Gaz FFC
Jacksgranda
I don't think anyone is upset at King taking over sevco, the mans a complete scumbag, fits the roll perfect and will take millions from the braindead orks like tedi cause they will see it as GIRUY to Celtic and the SFA. I think people are upset at the levels of corruption that has allowed a convicted scumbag to pass as fit and proper.. Ally's back?
Homer Thompson
He gave the SFA assurances that he wouldn't act as a shadow director, so obviously he needed to pssx the fit and proper test. But he also said, quite clearly, that his investing in the club wasnt contingent on being on the BoD and that he would invest anyway. Did he not, also, give examples of companies in SA that he invested in but wasnt on the BoD of? His statement yesterday completely contradicted that. Fair play to the STV reporter for picking up on it
nsr
How can anyone with even a shred of moral dignity or self respect continue to support this club neverending conveyor belt of crooks and conmen?

AberdeenBud
I take it the rangers fans don't have a problem with Honest Dave being somewhat economical with the truth?

cyderspaceman
Bennett must have been in before you. That was my intended meaning. I was joking, of course, there is no Asda store within several hundred miles of where I am at the moment. However, one can get Asda deliveries here for a fiver, apparently. Would be funny to find a Celtic birthday card in the groceries. "Benny was here", written inside. eta Just checked out of curiosity. They don't deliver groceries. Or beer Edited May 20, 2015 by cyderspaceman

Did he not, also, give examples of companies in SA that he invested in but wasnt on the BoD of? His statement yesterday completely contradicted that. Fair play to the STV reporter for picking up on it Exactly, according to King himself, passing a FnP test was irrelivant, so why are rangers fans trying to make out something has happened?
