Big Rangers Administration/Liquidation Thread - All chat here!

Absolute nonsense. Full SFA membership transference from old company to new company took place on 3rd August 2012. This is the original membership certification that was granted to the club in 1874. Therefore ensuring club continuity. My link

From your linky....

"The relaunched Ibrox club have obtained the old Rangers' licence to play after the latter headed for liquidation."

You see, it's a license to play, nothing else. It has nothing to do with the continuance of the club. (The club that was liquidated)

Maybe if you let their allocation exceed 500, they might contribute more to the attendance? Then they can contribute more.

You've very obviously never seen the wee Hibs support at Ibrox - surrounded as they are in their corner by empty seats their support failed to fill.

Give them more seats? WTF for? Do they need more empty space around them?

Has the SFA stated that this is a new club? That is a headline from the BBC it is not attributed to an official statement from the SFA stating anything about a new club. Add to that SFL recognise the continuity.

Ish. You started in League Cup R1, unseeded.

I get the feeling this will still be being debated in 5-10-15yrs time, and as I've said previously, no-one can "win".

Absolute claptrap bunkum and balderdash. Transferring membership between clubs does not mean a continuation. Your own link clearly differentiates between the two clubs.

Posting a link to prove your argument of continuation should surely have the mention of continuation in it. It doesnt even do that. Then it goes on to disprove your continuation contention. This is meltdown stuff. Too easy for the orc hunters.

Why have you put that forward as a quotation, that was not part of the SFA statement, maybe you should try and separate the reported article from the actual statement.

SFA statement; "The Scottish F.A can confirm that The Rangers Football Club Limited have today received confirmation that full membership of the association has been transferred". That's the statement, not what you tried to highlight. For further confirmation of club continuity read Lord Glennies report.

They will be on fourth incarnation by that time. Playing in the juniors. Demanding restructuring. Blaming dundee utd for something or other. Demanding transparancy from everyone except their owners. Talking about vengeance on the whole world. Claiming to the the same club. Blah blah blah.

And you know what?

It will still be hilarious.

Wont someone think of the hospitals!!!

Where in the SFA statement does it differentiate on continuity. Point that out.

Any chance you could answer my questions instead of ignoring them. Why did you put that forward as a quotation when it had nothing to do with the SFA statement? Point out in the SFA statement where it differentiates on continuity?

The club has refused tickets as they are entitled to do, get over it.

Maybe you lot could organise a sell out Tannadice game?

:D yes that would be appropriate in this occasion Benny as Rangers will get the sum of feck all and Chucky needs the cash and Utd know the money is going to very good causes if they just make it a partisan Dundee Utd crowd only.Just think of the atmosphere the Rangers players will have to take for 90mins      all them fans baying for blood and hurling the worst verbal abuse the Rangers players will have ever endured EVER.That will totally demoralise the Rangers players eventually boos every time they get the ball and lots of nice compliments at corners and throw ins :) and all because they had to pay a surplus for a called off game that had to be replayed FFS

Differentiate continuity?

What does that even mean, Youngsy? laugh.gif

Ask Burma,he brought up about differentiation over the membership transfer,i've asked him where in the SFA statement it determines any differentiation on club continuity. As in where it signifies that this is relating to different clubs. That's all that's asked for, nothing else.

Easily sorted with Utd paying the charity directly

Quote from the BBC Tedi

"It has been decided by the board that any proceeds from gate receipts due to the club will be donated to the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice Brick by Brick Appeal and Erskine charities via the Rangers Charity Foundation."

It would appear that the money will be sent to the charity foundation ! who runs that and is it a separate entity from the club itself ?.
