That is a headline from the BBC it is not attributed to an official statement from the SFA stating anything about a new club. Add to that SFL recognise the continuity. Ish. You started in League Cup R1, unseeded. SFA statement; "The Scottish F.A can confirm that The Rangers Football Club Limited have today received confirmation that full membership of the association has been transferred". That's the statement,not what you tried to highlight. For further confirmation of club continuity read Lord Glennies report.
