beermonkey Posted December 27, 2012 Share Posted December 27, 2012 Ah, I'm coming around to the idea of a fast-track return. Even if it's only to see the integrity driven have their day in the sun and they can then boycott their own clubs. Sweet as it is going to be when a diddy club hits the wall, it would be all the sweeter if it happened as a result of their own hate. For we all know that integrity had f**k all to do with anything of substance - it was hate for our club alone that produced the demands that diddy club directors surrendered to. They listened once - they'll never do it again. You seem a bit obsessed with that scenario. 3rd div newbie diddies wtf are they like. :lol: 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
killingfloorman Posted December 27, 2012 Share Posted December 27, 2012 You're trying way too hard on this because no matter what you say the continuation is recognised and therefore so is the 224 trophies that are in the trophy room. So why does chucky (still to this day) insist that they are his because he bought them? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Rovers_Lad Posted December 27, 2012 Share Posted December 27, 2012 You are mixing us up with Celtic not at all.strathclydes finest will oblige anyone with the official attendances at ibrox and parkhead for that matter 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
The Troll Posted December 27, 2012 Share Posted December 27, 2012 So we had a dip in one season to 45000 and then an increase the following season to 46000 and upwards again to 47000 and that's dwindling attendances in your opinion. And the average will drop further this season,according to you. Going on the average at the moment where's the evidence of this,bearing in mind that the attendance has risen this season and last season. Your support in the last 4 seasons is at the lowest its been since Ibrox was expanded, and the worst its been since 1995. The supports been turning away for years. Don't let this sudden jump of 800 fans fool you, you've lost almost 3000 fans in 6 years 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Monkey Tennis Posted December 27, 2012 Share Posted December 27, 2012 (edited) So the attendance in the SFL has increased from what it was in the sporting integrity league then. Good. It amuses me greatly that Rangers fans have bought into the Green idea that the SPL, as a body, is intrinsically hostile to Rangers. The body was established to slice off more of the money for its member clubs than was the case for top flight clubs in SFL days. It deliberately installed punitive stadium criteria in order to preserve the status of those on board. One-up one-down did the same job. The prize money was deliberately divided in such a way as to ensure that the already wealthiest took a hugely disproportionate share of it. When Rangers problems blossomed, its leaders strived first of all to invite the Rangers Newco straight in. When that failed, they attempted to bully SFL clubs into ensuring the SPL exile only lasted a year. The SPL is a truly hideous organisation which has done everything to reward, protect and advantage Rangers. That you see it as an enemy says so much more about the Rangers outlook, than it does about the horrible SPL, itself. It;s the SPL fans and clubs who see Rangers as the enemy, a quick look through this thread or website will confirm that. But you already know this, so i won't waste anymore time here. -3 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Hang on, you mean despite the club being liquidated owing money to a lot of people, it was the big bad SPL clubs and it's fans who are the nasty ones for not allowing a "debt free" newco straight back into the SPL despite Charlie Green begging? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

~~~ Posted December 27, 2012 Share Posted December 27, 2012 We're discussing our increased attendances in SFL Rico, you appear to going off on a tangent again. You say the SPL see Rangers as the "enemy" despite Doncaster bending over backwards to try and keep you in the league. That's simple not true, If Rangers paid her debts i don't think there would be any complaints about you staying in the league, but you didn't 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
But you already know this, so i won't waste anymore time here. SFL fans hate Rangers too though. Remember that uplifting day in July when a huge majority of SFL clubs voted against admitting you to the top SFL tier. Despite the dreadful, duplicitous behaviour of cretins in my own club's boardroom, the right thing was done overall. This 'SPL bad - SFL good' dichotomy that Green's somehow got you to believe in is laughable. Please make no mistake here Bennett - Rangers are just as well loved outside the SPL, as in it. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
youngsy Posted December 27, 2012 Share Posted December 27, 2012 You can put 224 tins of spam in the trophy room and they would have as much relevance to your new club's history. As long as the historical timeline is recognised as a continuance by the footballing authorities then that's all that matters,making your argument irrelevant. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Every SFL fan hates Rangers, yeah ok then. You make the mistake of assuming that SFL1 was our idea. We form our opinions believe or not without any influence from uncle Charlie, the issues with the SPL clubs for me arise from the mob rule mentallity which emrged alst season. Love us, hate us it's all the same but treat us fairly. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
How could it be otherwise - what a daft thing to say. Sorry, but I just love the idea of OF fans objecting to mob rule - simply priceless. Finally, how were Rangers treated unfairly - I really mean it... How? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Deal with it. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
