shull
"As a Scottish football club, they are a permanent embarrassment and an occasional disgrace. This country would be a better place if Rangers did not exist." Thankfully they don't.
Romeo
I'm worried for our sevco supporting pals....Stockholm Syndrome anyone..? Stockholm syndrome, or capture-bonding, is a psychological phenomenon in which hostages express empathy and sympathy and have positive feelings toward their captors, sometimes to the point of defending and identifying with the captors.

Dr Koop
The Fans Group are one of the largest shareholders but more importantly is the fact Rangers supporters now control well over 50% of the shares and that shareholding is going to grow. That, or what invariably happens at football clubs after upheaval. The fantasy that 'we've got people who care on the board' prevails and the people who really matter, the paying punters, well, they and their interests are kicked to the kerb. Fans and minor shareholders will sit on their arses, waiting for the nirvana they believe they've been promised and deserve to arrive. Shareholder activists will be sidelined, one eye on them in case they get uppitty. Meanwhile, the businessmen get on with their business. You and I are not invited. Just buy the tickets, the shirts (well, maybe not the shirts) and keep on living the dream. Always the way, but, hey, they're 'our' guys now.
Dr Koop
By the way, when is Dave Rex off home to attend to his grown-up business affairs?

Ken Fitlike
Bennett, with nothing to say, but needs somewhere to post his brain farts. pity because (against his normal deliberately irritating persona) he actually put up a few sensible posts round the EGM issue Edited March 7, 2015 by Ken Fitlike
THE KING
I think you will find that RST, Rangers first and the Rangers fans that have proxies to them, which includes fans like me account for around 12% So the proxies are included we are all Rangers fans, this has already been regocnised by the board who have already started the ball rolling with regards to board representation for these fan groups. What fans will be on the board....raging sectarian bigot Chris Graham?.

The DA
The Fans Group are one of the largest shareholders but more importantly is the fact Rangers supporters now control well over 50% of the shares and that shareholding is going to grow. Are you counting King as a 'Rangers supporter' then? If so, in what way is he more of a Rangers supporter than, say, Ashley? Ashley seems to have put as much, if not more, money into running Rangers than King has. I suspect Ashley has been to more games than King has. Is it because King says he is a fan?
The DA
Just catching up on here. I think it's £2k a day, not a week. The guy that cuts my grass charges much the same.

THE KING
I would love him to get on the board, the LOL's would be phenomenal. It would make sense a knuckle dragging tinfoil headed bigot who spends his entire life on the internet abusing Celtic/Catholics and the Irish. It must be Tedi , Kincardine and No8s dream appointment.

No8.
This has become a must read for all Rangers supporters. Absolutely glorious.
The DA
King put in £20m he is about to put in more, Ashley ha not put in anything other than his initial small investment. King has never received a penny from Rangers he has already stated that he will not be taking any money going forward, Ashley through sports direct has already stripped out millions. You suspect wrong That £20M is disputed left, right and centre. We'll agree to disagree. In any case, are you forgetting that money went to the old company, nothing to do with the club. Or are you admitting they were the same thing now? Ashley has loaned Rangers £5M, possibly £10M, over the last few months to keep club and company afloat. How much has King put in? Edit: for spelling. Edited March 7, 2015 by The DA
Ken Fitlike
Dave King and his smoke and mirrors £20 million - which actually didn't go to Rangers RIP, but into one of Moonbeam Murray's Multitude of subsidiaries.
Sting777
The glib and shameless one only needs to whip out a mirror and look directly into it to find the biggest crook of all!! http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/new-rangers-chief-dave-king-5288569 Edited March 7, 2015 by Sting777
The DA
It is disputed on tic blogs, are you an avid reader ? No. Are you? I am not interested in your boring repetitive old co newco drivel...it went to Rangers That'll be the point conceded then? Loaned, exactly in other words he has put nothing in thanks for proving my point. You don't consider providing loan facilities when none of the more usual providers were forthcoming to be 'supporting' the company? King has tried on numerous occasions to put money in not loans and has been rebuffed by the crooks that were kicked out of the front door yesterday. Those offers never went far enough to show whether he was offering his own money or that of 'other consortium members'. Given his state-approved g&s reputation, I wouldn't believe the money existed until it was nestling safely in the bank.
pozbaird
The EGM is over. Dave Rocky King has knocked out Apollo Creed and today all is quiet as we wait for the sequel. The BRALT once more degenerates into foaming at the mouth Berzz rapier-like jibes of 'obsessed' or the new cringeworthy one from Tedi.... 'We'. We have won.... Oh for fcuk sake. Apparently, the rest of us are in denial that the good guys have won, and overnight, The Sevco are on a righteous path towards the position the dead Rangers club once occupied. Until King makes a move, until Ashley responds, until something ACTUALLY happens (apologies for shouting), I'm out. I'm supposed to be seething, so I'll bow out of the tit-for-tat speculation and seeth youse' guys later....
