This must be costing him more than £7.5K in legal fees. Is he just being a tosser or is he fighting for what he thinks is right? (Anyone remember The Flashing Blade? During the Banana Splits, wasn't it?)

Loved the Flashing Blade. Seemed to be on every Summer Hols.

Sevco's options are starting to run thin as time passes by, failure to reach the top tier is definitely going to send the club into insolvency sooner rather than later.

So we have had the SFA and the clubs unify to make the insolvency rules more strict !, how long until they get implemented ?, now or at the start of next season ?

Potless Paul went to meet with representatives of Sports Direct. What was his intent at the meeting ?, was he out with the begging bowl or trying to (don't laugh) renegotiate the onerous contracts to Rangers FC favour ?

Then came the news of another bridging loan after Potless meets with SD, a bit of a coincidence I'd say.

Now everything at Mordhor appears to be hinged which division the club will be playing football in next season, no one is making a move either way. The fans are dubious about buying an ST and the board are holding back from pumping in their alleged investment of tens of millions.

Interesting times ahead should they fail to get promoted and also how fucking gullible the fans will be should they get promoted. Promotion means they are willing to throw money at the club without question in the hope they make a title challenge of sorts.

After failing to beat Falkirk at the asbestos dome today we can now see the end of Sevco in sight. The stenographers are feeding the people moonbeams about McCall having a warchest and dossier (lol) to keep them on board, but the reality is insolvency will be assured when they fail to go up. Then we'll see the feeding on the corpse by Big Mike and the three blind mice will get burned. GASL will not fund the 10-15m needed to keep the lights on, there is no credit line, no listing, no chance. :thumbsdown:thumsup2

So another 'lights on' loan needed yet the manager is away making a transfer wish list?

Current burn rate of £1.5m a month. They need £18m at start of season to see it through. That's 40k season tickets at £500 a pop before tax... I think after tax it may actually be £2m short. Cant look to retail, cant sell certain assets due to previous loans being levied against them.

Quite literally, they fail play offs and I think its bye bye sevco.

The glib one and his potless pal, not content enough to kill rangers, started this clubs death spiral a year ago with their boycotts and other pish.

Whilst on cheek is always cheated never defeated, this lot should be 'duped 'n' tuped'

Surely they can reduce that burn rate as expensive contracts begin to expire

According to

http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/glasgow-rangers/kader/verein/124/saison_id/2014

There's 11 players out of contract at the end of May and another 7 at the end of June.

They'll only keep burning money at that rate if they retain those players or hire their replacements at similarly expensive rates.

And they're not going to be daft enough to...

...oh hang on

It's the Sevco way. Blowing money on haddies and 'club legends' is all they've known in their short existence.

Random thought - when will the Tribute Act run out of players who have turned out for rangers AND are willing to accept playing for a second rate club at second rate wages?

Now now, we have been informed multiple times that its not the playing squad that takes up the turn over....

Is cal the new densboy?

Naw, I was just wondering how they are going to afford next season. A quick search of this topic brings up analysis of the accounts where there is more going out on staff wages than the player wages. 28% of turnover apparently. Around the time of mccoist and the 'i don't see contracts offered' and Kevin Kyle claiming he'd have played fore a lot less.

Seemed a valid question at the time

Serious question: How does 4 (?) payday loans in a season not count as an Insolvency event?

edit for speellllin

Don't forget share issue. Though I think more than 4 loans, 2 by three bears, easdale and other bloke before Xmas and then you have the Ashley loans
