Heart of Midlothian 5 - 1 Hibernian

We gubbed Hamilton three times out of three last season (sounds familiar IMO) and Gretna beat us in our ONLY season in the bottom six.

Straws... Clutching.

Gretna in the second division also took you to penalties did they not?

Relegated Ayr emptied you out the league cup this season.

Many things can happen in one off games. Not one hearts player would get in the Celtic side that thumped you 9-0 over two league games and we all know what happened in the semi with a lot of luck.

Cold soares is better because he is on treble the money?

Can't be that good if he has been farmed out to the team that was struggling for its SPL life not long ago

Look at Vaz Te last season he couldn't be that good because he came to us for 6 months clubless. Soers obviously has something in his locker to get a contract at a premier league club in a transfer worth over £1million.

That time we won the cup after splitting the Old Firm aye?

Mickey Mouse trophy.

A lot of luck in the semi-final? Hearts outplayed Celtic that day plain and simple - Sergio outfoxed Lennon a beauty. We beat them twice this season and they beat us three times, the 4-0 game would have/should have been so different if we actually got given a goal which crossed the line in the first minute. The game yesterday was just wave after wave of attack when you look at the midfield/striker we had out. No big surprise as well really as they are also a very attacking team and when they get into a flow they will give teams a hammering.

As for Hearts and Hibs? It's a very different story. We have a good record against Celtic over the past six or seven years where as Hibs have a rotten record against Hearts overall, especially in the past three seasons.

Yes, the time you split the old firm you won the cup on penalties against a second division side with a much better side than you do now.

Outplay Celtic are you serious? They hit the post about 4 times and you got a very dubious penalty.

Of course it was a tremendous performance because they have a much better side than hearts but they were by far the better side barring a ten minute spell in the second half.

How surprising that you fail to mention that their goal was offside. :P

Templeton has done sod all all season, Soares like it or not is a premiership player so there must be something there. Both are a hit or a miss.

Suso is better than Templeton.

A Premiership player you say?

He sounds excellent.

Celtic didn't create any decent chances in the first 35/40 minutes of the first half or the first 30/35 of the second half. I can think of 3 good chances they had off the top of my head; Ki hit the post twice and McDonald made a good save on the line. I could be forgetting some but IIRC the rest of their attempts were half-chances at best. Their equaliser was also offside.

It was hardly extremely fortunate.

Yes a player contracted to a Premiership side. If your seething because of that then tough cookies.

I'm not seething. Merely pointing out that your remark about him being good because he's played in the Premier League was fatuous. Cheers.

Off the post with two sitters, stokes missed from a yard out hooper through on goal.

All from a side who have hit 9 past you in the last 2 league games.

Nah not fortunate at all.

Saying that hearts were unfortunate with the equaliser but then got a penalty in the 90th min.

As a neutral I would say you were fortunate. Hopefully we get the same fortune on Saturday and considering the breaks you got in the last derby at Easter Road we are due a little fortune in a derby.

Nade was in a promoted side who got him for nothing Soares signed for a Premiership side for over £1million. There is a little difference im sure you would agree?

Anyway Soers is pretty shite as is Templeton.

I think it's relatively mild with some decent points and not too many gifs.

The same tired old pish from the same folk on a loop. It's like being in mid 2000's again and every club playing Fatman Scoop all the time.

We outplayed a bunch of diving p***ks, yes. They failed to take their chances and we did. If you take away the offside goal/penalty, we still would have won. Sergio outsmarted Lennon.

Celtic put eleven past you at home this season by the way. :o Also the result yesterday is irrelevant - none of our midfield or our striker will be starting in the final. Our soft midfield is the main reason we lost so heavily.
