HoBNob
The Ayr centre half is a haddy. Yep. To give him his dues he seems a decent attacking threat at set pieces but he really isn't a good enough defender.
Poet of the Macabre
Quite a bizarre comment from a fan of a club who employ Pat Scullion tbh. Yes, because if you support a team then you automatically think all your players are great. Docherty and Devlin would be good squad additions. McLaughlin is pish though.

I was amazed when I found out he hadn't just been hoovered up from a junior side for his hard-man qualities, but instead he's played professional football the whole time

da_no_1
Liam Smith. Not that I'm aware of. Its happening though.
DAFC.
Liam Smith. Not that I'm aware of. Its happening though. I see he is a defender. Whereabouts in defence? Pretty pointless signing another full back. The injuries to our defence have been absolutely tragic. Not that we haven't dealt with it, unlike some other teams
HoBNob
Sure he plays Lb and Rb, could do with cover there if Talbot gets injured/loss of form.

Geggan to RB if Rooney gets injured which damages the midfield. Nothing to cover if something happens to Talbot.
parsforlife
Evan horne has signed, primarily for the u20s side for now. The Liam smith deal is on hold whilst hearts decide if they are going to let him out on loan.
Gigi Alabocheré
Says he is primarily a defensive midfielder, strange one bringing him in and letting spence go out on loan for the rest of the season.
kdypar
He's 4 years younger than Spence so makes sense long term.
smpar
17 years old and a sleeve of tattoos? So we've signed a criminal? Great.
DAFC.
Surely he'll be an U20s player for now otherwise what was the point in letting Spence go on loan?

da_no_1
MAC has left the club. Frees up a wage. Never really did anything of note but good luck to him. http://www.dafc.co.uk/story.php?t=Mickael_Antoine-Curier&ID=9044
Alter Ego
MAC has been released today. Imo he has done nothing. I have seen him play in the under 20's games and he had a major attitude problem and was not interested after 10 mins.
Shandon Par
AJ raving about Wallace and Hopkirk on his Thursday update so no big loss to lose MAC. On tattoo boy... Good stuff from Potter about our 'way of thinking'. His way of thinking wasn't very good, but AJ seems to have that clarity that was lacking last year. This year the team reminds me of the times we've had very good coaching (eg under Jimmys C and Mac). We're not about one or two players running things - you can see every player, including the subs, buys into whatever they are being coached. John Potter gave his opinion on the new signing:-"He looks a good player, we obviously knew about him when he was playing at Dundee United. He left there because he wasn't getting the game time that he was looking for. "He has impressed everybody in training and joined in with the first team. He played a 20s game for us. It wasn't a great game but we saw enough to think that he can progress and do well. I think he will score goals, he is quite creative and we will get him into our way of thinking and hopefully he can be a good player and a good signing for the club."
DA Baracus
MAC is absolutely no loss. Seemingly he was a bit of a dick and we haven't needed him anyway. Can't even mind when he last played for the first team
smpar
Nothing against MAC, but he's no loss. If anything, a good move by the club as he was probably on (one of) the highest wages.
