Bugger this midfield malarky.
lellywong
Well 'backing of the Board' is surely the kiss of death for Grant

Cancelling lifeline on Tuesday if no action taken by Monday. Breaks my heart to say this, but enough is enough. I’m in a similar mind CC. I feel a bit childish doing it knowing the CC Lifeline is for the good of the club but I feel it’s these types of actions that may go noticed.
Cardle is Magic
Even if they do sack him, there will be glowing quotes about Grant and how unlucky he’s been. There will be zero admission that it was a terrible appointment from day one.

embow
This is like going on holiday when a bairn. "Are we there yet?". "Is he still there yet?" Maybe your BoD suffers from procrastination as in... Procrastination is our sin. It causes us much sorrow. We really ought to give it in. In fact we'll start tomorrow. Or next week, or the week after, or maybe next month or..... und so weiter! (Just to remind you that you've Germans owning you.) Stellaboz
Let's sack Grant. But before we do, we will start the hotel and scoreboard and rebuild the temporary North Stand. And sign a centre back.

parsforlife
Why are are board delaying this? it’s clearly the only option, the quicker they implement it the better. What benefits to the club to we gain from letting him take more training sessions? he’s only going to make things worse.
The Toun Clock
All I can think is that Meggle and Co couldn’t get over for today and want to be here in person to make any decision.
Chubbychops
Surely we're not giving this chancer more time. He has to be punted tomorrow. No credible BoD would possibly continue with such failure at a time when we have a week off. Edited October 4, 2021 by Chubbychops
Shandon Par
They are probably still too hungover from the night they appointed him.
Irosshed and I was wrong
Petrie’s go be linked wi the Pars job every time it becomes available until he’s 136 years old.On a sidenote Peter Grant must be one of the most unlikeable characters in football. Consistently comes across as a right p***k.
CallumPar
Is it safe to assume that he’s staying, if there’s no announcement tomorrow? Been plenty time for the board to have a call and discuss things now. Genuinely concerning if he isn’t sacked during this international break.

Agreed, petrie will either take the pars job, eventually run out of steam PT(current estimate 2045) or bypass us and become an elite manager. Until any of those happen he will always be the fan favorite.
