And the other (ex St Johnstone) brother plays for Northern Ireland. Just wonder how good Lewis can get? Would he look out of place just now if he was chucked into any middling Premiership teams? McPake talking about him post match makes it clear he’s cut from the same cloth as Matty Todd and they have to physically drag him away from training for his own good.

When your day prem, I presume you mean in England?

Called for the team to now step up without so many of our first 11 available. Sounds like they did just that.

Is Ben Summers going to keep Matty Todd out when he's back? The lad looks like an absolute baller.

Good to see Jak get more time and O Halloran doing well.

Got to beat our bogey team now, never seem to beat Morton at home.

what a fantastic problem for McPake to have. The dogged, hard working performances from our lads so far this season, has given us all a that great feel good factor we had last season.
given the fact that the team most fancied to win this league struggled to get a draw against us on their own turf, should be cause for teams to worry about the Pars turning up.
Add the injured players coming back to the bench should make us a force to be reckoned with.
playoffs or better isn’t an impossible task for this squad, and it’ll be even better if we add to it before the end of the month.
Theres no really easy games in this league, but opposition teams that watch any footage of the Pars will see a team that never stops trying, and that should give them cause for concern

the rovers game was a wee hiccup, and like what happened with Montrose, we’ll put it right next time.

After McCann’s free kick yesterday, when’s the last time a pars player scored from so far out?

Obviously Todd last year against Clyde. For some reason I have a strong memory of Kyle McAusland scoring from 30+ yards in our car crash league one season. And way before that the Alex Burke goal. Doesn’t happen too often but there must be more

Raymond Sharp v Ayr IIRC. Think he’d softened the keeper up earlier in the game by testing the resilience of his skull and rib cage then smashed one in from around the dugouts.

I’m sure Nicky Clark scored a header from about 30 yards v Queen of the South once. Think Robinson was in goals and slipped or something.

Martin Hardie's free kick against Caley Thistle was taken from The Lizzie.

The Sharpy one was 40 yards. My memory sucks but that one will stay there for ever.
