D'Jaffo
How was Moff not picked up earlier in his career? Was he a late developer? He preferred going to Celtic Park on a Saturday rather than play football. He only signed for Girvan in his mid twenties then for us 2 years later. If he’d had the ambition to play professionally earlier he probably could’ve but he wasn’t arsed.
Stellaboz
Wow. Genuinely, he could have played several levels higher if so.

He had an excellent half season at St Mirren (presumably what you refer to) following a poor year with you and yes failing to really make it at Hearts. You are however completely ignoring two very good seasons he had at this level with us before he moved to Hearts. He has played 4 seasons at the level and been excellent for 2.5 to 3 of them. My bad, genuinely forgot he played at this level with QoTS, thought he'd moved after the title win in the 1st division but that was Clarke. 2.5 good seasons out of 4 doesn't point out to a player who's very good at this level.
CallumPar
Source confirms the club are moving on following Liam Brown decision to hold out for other offers. Stevie & Greg looking to get the core of their squad signed up reasonably quickly and don't want to be left waiting to be the 2nd or 3rd choice club for a player when they can go out and find players that actually want to play at the club. They have reiterated they cannot have players that think they're too good for the club and bring morale down. There have been whispers of a handful of other players potentially coming in. All of those are in the very early stages and nothing to get excited about. However though, the majority of said players are from lower leagues, a tactic which hasn't been great for us in recent times. If true, an attitude like that could cost us. A young player wishing to weigh up his options is not a sign that he wouldn’t give 100% for us, or be fully committed to the club. That means that this bizarre policy would mean we are only signing players that other championship clubs haven’t shown an interest in?It would be absolutely ridiculous to tell players that we’re not interested in them, if they listen to another club’s offer. Please tell me you’ve made this up?
Rob1885
Only a complete moron would fail to see what Moffat brought to the team. 6 goals in his last season 🤣🤣🤣
Poet of the Macabre
Players that leave Dunfermline often get the rose-tinted glasses treatment but none have ever been so overhyped as Michael Moffat. 7 goals in his last 44 league games and people go on like he was the next Craig Brewster. He was a solid player for us and seemed like a good guy. Would he have been an improvement on the muck we had up top this season? Absolutely. That's not saying much, though.

IR1970
Sorry should have .said Ewan Murray.....Nesbitt and barjonas apparently signing for the pars.. Edited May 26, 2019 by IR1970
Deadly
Fraser mullen...Nesbitt and barjonas apparently signing for the pars..Apart from scoring a screamer early on at the Rovers he was woeful for us. Shat out of most tackles and hid when we were up against it. If we were winning he looked to get on the ball but not a player who will step up when the going gets tough.
qos1990
Kyle Turner of Stranraer has apparently agreed a deal with us. Good signing if it happens.Supposed to be Carlisle united bound.

Deadly
Is this Barjonas you're referring to?Yeah. Never seen Mullen. If IR1979 means Kevin Nisbet, which we (rovers) are fearing to be true then I'd expect him to do well even if it is a league above
Stellaboz
He was up front with Vaughan in the cup game right? Look okay second half.
Poet of the Macabre
Barjonas is utter shite. I'd certainly hope the budget isn't *that* bad.

AL-FFC
Not sure if any of you guys have posted or seen this but Connor Sheilds being released from Sunderland and apparently Dunfermline interested in him:https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/sunderland-flop-set-to-move-on-in-summer-with-no-sign-of-new-deal-from-jack-ross/ Shields will likely attract interest from north of the border, with the report claiming the likes of Dunfermiline are keen on adding the young striker to their ranks.
