Jim McLean's Ghost
There are two versions, the Surface and the Surface Pro. Surface (non-pro) is your standard Windows RT tablet with kickstand and keyboard accessories. It has a full sized USB port which is nice and the design is pretty cool. Apparently it is light too. Price and battery life would be concerns both are unannounced. The pro looks the same but slightly thicker, you get a USB 3.0 port, it has an intel i5 processor which mean full windows 8 and it has some sort of active digitiser like the galaxy note so you can properly use a pen input. Same funky keyboard attachments. Again price and battery especially with an intel x86 processor There was no real hands on for any tech publication, no release date and no price except around Windows 8 launch (which is TBC) and pricing around similar current devices. These both look high end tablets, expect Acer, Dell, Toshiba and HP to come out with similar designs at a cheaper price.
pantene proV
I read somewhere the Pro version is going to be priced around the ultrabook end of the market
Just a bairn
Very impressed by what I've seen so far, but unfortunately the standard version can't run Windows applications out with the App store. Might wait and see what the Pro version is like before I give up my iPad.
P45
Has anyone got a Surface Pro 3? Is it good? I heard it has a problem with overheating.
