I've got this on a bootleg CD. It's Noely G doing a bit of crooning to Burt Bacharach's ' This Guy's In Love With You'

Is that the 'UnLiamed' CD? The MTV unplugged one?

I'm seeing Beady Eye for the 3rd time in November. Barras. Saw their very first show back there in 2011. Was unreal. Saw them do an acoustic set at HMV Buchan Street in June, met the band too. That was was unreal. I've loved Oasis for about 10 years and LG is one of my heroes, so to meet him was unreal.

I've seen NGHFB twice. Both unreal.

Oasis, Murrayfield 17th June 2009 too. ;)

Nah, it's just a bootleg CD called Oasis- The accoustic sessions. It's reccordings of different live shows. Liam's on it as well. I think that one was from a Burt Bacharach tribute night that Noel played as he's a big fan of his.

I had the chance to see them at Hampden in 05. Dunno why i didn't go. Thankfully i went to Murrayfield in 09. Would have loved to been at Hampden in 05 simply to hear Acquiese Live!

The Balloch show is the only thing i wish i'd been born 10 years earlier for!

Going to have to purchase this I think, some excellent recordings on it. I absolutely love discovering new versions of songs - sometimes they can be really special. This is a belter.

Beady Eye gigs hit by Archer injury

Liam Gallagher's band Beady Eye have cancelled a series of shows after guitarist Gem Archer was admitted to hospital with "severe head trauma" after an accident.

The musician is "in a stable condition but continues to stay in hospital under observation", according to a statement on the band's website.

It said: "His family, friends and bandmates thank everyone who have sent messages of support and well wishes so far and hope to see him back on his feet soon."

Shows in Belgium and Japan were cancelled after the accident on August 1.

His wife, Lou, tweeted: "Thanks for all your support and well wishes during this awful time. I know he will appreciate it. Hopefully he'll be back on his feet soon. X"

Bandmate Andy Bell told fans on the social networking site: "Wanna wish my brother @gemarcherbe a speedy recovery X."

Hope Gem's alright like, they haven't said how the accident happened either.

Also, here is another fine performance. Not sure if it has been posted yet, apologies if so. It's from Top of The Pops BUT, as you will hear, there is no miming involved. Just raw class from the lads.

I'd say this is arguably the best song that Liam's wrote. The B-side to 'Falling Down' from the DOYS album.

Great song! But wasn't b-side to Falling Down. "Those Swollen Hands Blues" was the B-side to Falling Down. "Boy With The Blues" is an iTunes exclusive song.

One critical point about the tune, the last chorus goes on far too long haha!

Ah right, thanks! Tbh I stopped buying their singles after the DBTT album.

They'd be mad not to reunite in a few years, even just for a tour or two. It would make millions. I can't imagine the rift is so bad that a few years from now they'd turn down that amount of money.

Well they hardly talked for the last decade.
