lau03143
Just back from a weekend in Sheffield and went to a Real Ale Off License. Went a bit mad and got a few beers! I also had a Kestrel. Something I haven't seen in years. Disgusting!
Hedgecutter
They are also selling Williams Joker is this any good? If that's the Joker IPA with the green label, then aye, it's a favourite of mine. I prefer mine straight out the fridge.
lau03143
Does that say Holy Brewed Beer on the Kestrel?! Yep. Supposedly an old brewing style.

mighty meadow
Had a couple of pints in the Salt Cot (Wetherspoon's pub in Saltcoats) this afternoon. Both completely different styles but both very enjoyable.
Bold Rover
I'm a Williams Bros fan and am presently enjoying a 7 Giraffes, a brew with which I am well familiar. On the weekend I had a couple of Birds and Bees which I hadn't previously experienced - most enjoyable!

Dryhorce
Drinking this tonight. Küppers Kölsch 1390509329596.jpg Really good. Drinking Fullers London Pride just now,one of the best on the market in my opinion. Most other English beers that ive tried have not been up to the mark, but this ones amazing better than all our beers. And that is saying something as Scotland makes good brews to.Was on Innis and Gunn for a while till I tried the pride. Bold Rover
Being A Williams Bros enthusiast I bought a bottle of their Chieftain Pale Ale in Aldi (amongst many others!) Anyone else tried this? It was okay, but a bit gassy for my liking. Not a patch on Seven Giraffes or Birds & Bees.

Had one the other night found it quite nice , It's hard to get the true measure of a beer from just one tho, I have another waiting to be drunk which I will have before deciding if it's worth buying in larger quantities and adding to my regulars. Yeah - that's a fault I have - not buying enough beer to enjoy it properly.
invergowrie arab
Tonight's line up includes a few from innis and gunn - treacle porter, spiced rum finish , Canadian cherrywood finish and couple of volcano ipa. Most excited about the 6° north stuff I have bought tho. Anyone tried it?

lau03143
Had one of these from North Yorkshire Brewing Co. Yorkshire Porter Really tasty. This one was 4.4% but they have a version that was 9%.

Bold Rover
This is very good. ImageUploadedByPie & Bovril1390681462.128745.jpg I posted on this one yesterday - it was a new one to me, although I major on Williams Bros. I thought this was a bit gassy and not as good as its brothers and sisters,
