Lets All Laugh At Rangers Thread

Gerrard must be getting spoon fed quotes from his superiors to give to the press. Jeez. Pathetic, the usual diatribes of "everyone is against us", "us against the world". Get a life. Everyone hates you and your Ipox mob because now that you have staged a mini-revival  you are back to being the arrogant, obnoxious haters you were in the tenure of your previous club . Of course none of you can accept that you are again seriously in debt due to spending beyond your means in your futile efforts to stop 10 in a row. Respect is a two way street, if you want it, show it to others.

Heard this is part of the interview process.

In your words tell us how the world is against Rangers Football Club and how the SFA is ran by THEM.

Good grief, how long are they going to keep on throwing non-existent money into a black hole? At what point are they no longer allowed to keep going?

Dave King said it would take a certain amount of investment over 5 years.

For the last few years the P&Bers were demanding that he and other directors spend the promised cash.

Now the P&Bers aren't happy because....

Ignoring for a moment the fact that Dave King is a glib and shameless liar, what exactly is the expected outcome of this 5 year investment?

Sevco aren't going to catch Celtic, barring a similar financial implosion and extinction event at Potato City, and that is the standard by which success and failure are and forever will be measured at Snake Mountain.

Is the plan to make the clumpany financially stable or even profitable? How can that happen when expenditure and losses are increasing year on year?

I'm quite surprised how tenacious this Jenkins lad appears to be. Unless he's an absolute fantasist (and I've no reason to suppose that he is), there are a lot of glib and shameless lies coming out of Ibrox. But what's the motivation to lie - is it just because they can?

Going back a few years (before 2012)I said that the SFA should keep more of an eye and tighter control on teams who have been in administration.

The idea was to stop all the double dunters like Dundee and Livingston from crocodile tears in the papers looking for sympathy all to just dump debt and start over with a new scheme.

Looking at Rangers/Sevco has only strengthened my case that the SFA needs to do more after a club has had an administration/liquidation event.

Remember all the "big house needs to stay open" stuff and all that mattered was the fans had a team to watch? What absolute rubbish.

Don't see any of them protesting about the books. All they care about is stopping 10 in a row even if that means massive unplayable levels of debt.

Let's call a spade a spade here Sevco fans. You couldn't care less about the club accounts as long as you get some trophies and stop Celtic soon.

Now that you've let off some steam, can you try answering what was a serious question? What is Sevco's medium-to-long-term goal and how is it going to be achieved when they are making bigger and bigger losses every year?

while Daniel Candeias is denied the right to go to his work

He's not exactly under house arrest is he? Unless they're hoping they don't have to pay him while he's suspended, this makes no sense at all.

I'll let you know after I attend the next board meeting.

Can I answer this 1?

Since King took charge the no1 goal above everything is stop THEM getting 10.

Nothing else matters.

That's what the fans want, but surely those in cherge are aware it's nothing more than a pipe dream under present conditions? Assuming Celtic don't completely collapse, will ten in a row for them mark the end of this facade from King and his ilk?

See you're thinking like a rational person.

King (or anyone) doesn't want to be chairman when Celtic win 10 in a row.

That latest statement  [emoji38][emoji38]
Yeah can everyone drop the other discussions for now and focus on the statement.... Holy shit.

Shocked they arent paying Daniel Candeias when he is suspended btw.

Presumably they will be looking for the review to encompass the rest of Scottish Footballs surprise at Morelos and McGregor x 3 getting away with violent conduct?

Just so everyone has seen it:

Quote

CLUB RESPONSE TO SCOTTISH FA’S DECISION TO DISMISS OUR APPEAL:

RANGERS are extremely disappointed with the decision of the Scottish FA’s Judicial Panel to dismiss our appeal against the second yellow card shown to Daniel Candeias in the closing seconds of last Saturday’s match against St Mirren.

Rangers afforded the governing body the opportunity to let common sense prevail and we are surprised they have chosen not to do so by correcting what was, and what remains an inexplicable decision by the match referee, Willie Collum. Rangers shall now seek a fundamental review of the rules relating to red cards which result from two bookings of a player in a game.

If one of these decisions is obviously wrong, it must be possible to correct that mistake. It is wrong that players’ livelihoods and careers can be impacted without the opportunity of redress, especially when the official responsible for the miscarriage of justice is allowed to continue as though beyond question or reproach.

It defies belief that this same referee, who got it so blatantly wrong last Saturday, is awarded one of the biggest matches in Scottish football this weekend while Daniel Candeias is denied the right to go to his work. This, frankly, is unacceptable.

Furthermore, it is understood that a number of people within the Scottish FA are in no doubt Mr Collum’s judgment was flawed and Rangers shall also now be submitting a formal complaint about the performance of this referee. The manner in which he reacted to an incident involving our player made it obvious he did not give due consideration to his decision.

This is by no means the first time errors of judgment have been made in matches involving this official and clearly there is an underlying issue which requires to be addressed.
