Griff Sheridan
Off to Manchester tomorrow, therefore I am staying up until 5am to get my body clock in sync. Apparently alcohol is on sale until 4am, I hope it doesn't turn into a riot.
banana
Cormier v Johnson II not the main event, rumours that it will be GSP v someone, possibly Anderson.
Ira Gaines
I'm guessing it'll be Nick Diaz. Apparently both guys want it.

Should be a few scuffles to have a lol at once everyone spills out into the Sunday Mancunian air. Although I will say MMA/Muay Thai events I've been to in past couple of years have become alot more good natured comparative to those of four years ago.

If they put that on as the main it marks a bit of a turning point and probably the first signs of WMEIMG changing things up for me. Even when McGregor vs Diaz had headlined it wasn't over established blue ribbon titles. Yes the women's bantamweight has been big for them with Rousey but with it still being a comparatively new belt and not being on her anymore it didn't feel like a big deal. Something like GSP vs Anderson going out after the LHW title feels completely different. Different if it was the dream fight of 5 years ago, but it's nowhere near that level now. -
JamieStevenson
Heading to Manchester soon enough. Quite excited now, card has managed to hold together reasonably well for the most part.

Griff Sheridan
Little point. If it finishes at 5-6am and check out is 10am, then that's about two hours kip. Better just to see it through and get to my own bed about 9am.
Griff Sheridan
Note: I will be having a beer as soon as I get home, 9am or not!!
port-ton
Journey started at 2pm today. In Glasgow for a few pints then train down at 5. Watch England game and first half of scotland game on train, 2nd half in Manchester, sleep in a ditch for two hours, go to UFC, leave UFC at 5am, go to casino until train at 9am then die on the train home.Day sorted.

You can ask for extended check outs, to say noon. ~5 hours sleep and then a drive is a shitload safer and more comfortable than what you're planning. Anyhow, have fun.
port-ton
People on the Facebook event who aren't even going to the event moaning about the time it's starting is doing my tits in.There's literally no difference to your life than normal and if you were watching it on tv you have no idea whether it's in Vegas, Manchester or Melbourne.

banana
Always a pleasure seeing BelfoTRT getting mashed, especially by a thinking man's martial artist like Mousassi. Close main event with Bisping taking 2 & 3, Hendo 1, and the 4th and 5th kinda leaning towards Bisping but still quite open.
Griff Sheridan
That was magnificent. Easily the best I've been to (it was my 14th). Now tucked up in bed after breaking the land speed record to get from Manchester to Glasgow in 2h49m.What a day / morning!!
