The Moonster
Was it Chapman or Adamson who signed James? Annan would probably be a good shout for him either way.

The Elephant In The Rock
I'm sure he'll go Second Division. Part of a team which was promoted from that league two seasons ago and over 20 appearances in the First last season. Surely will attract interest.
Jordo1872
Few harsh comments on Creaney. A decent enough player at 2nd division level but a step to the first proved too much, as it did for most if not all of our defence. Creaney played a part in our promotion from the second and deserves a bit of credit for that. Fans love a good scape goat though. He won't sign for Morton, but I'm sure he'll find himself a contract in the 2nd and go on to have a good season. Good luck to him.

Bring Back Paddy Flannery
To be honest he was the weak link in the team when we were promoted as well.
squeezebox-son
I thought he struggled in the second and wouldn't have been good enough for a 3rd division team. Having said that, he vastly improved with us. Always the weak link in our squad though. Should find a mid-table 2nd division side.
Jordo1872
No, that was Mark Lamont.
squeezebox-son
I thought Lamont looked far better when we were in the 2nd and lost his way last season. If anything Lamont got worse, where Creaney improved.

No offence, but why would Craig Reid sign with Dumbarton? He has a offer on the table with Morton and is looking for a move down south.

Clutching at straws here. Turner turned us down because he wanted to stay part time so he can work around his current job, and is earning money doing so. Tidser is signing for a team in league one, nothing can be done about that. Creaney isn't signing for Morton though so your point is invalid there. Morton are mid table yeah? We have 12 players signed up with the rest youngsters, settle down.
optimistic
we shall see who.s above who then come end of season. i think cut backs are inevitable for morton since last few years assault on promotion.
Naught A Chance
Fully expect Morton to finish above us this seasons, by how many places I'm not sure, but they will finish above us. While there's a Morton fan here, what's happening with Craig Barr, was he offered a deal by Morton?

Not offered a deal no, but he said to Allan Moore before he went to America if he didn't sign with anyone over there we would be his number one choice. We have now signed Page and are looking at other centre half's so must have dropped interest or he has signed elsewhere. What's happening with Dowie? He would be a solid signing for you guys.
mcintyre_gmfc
I don't think Turner has a "current job". I am positive I read somewhere that he has, he is a personal trainer or something.
