Claudia Gentile
Apparently the law-suit against Watson could mean the Broons have a way out of their contract with him. I think it was one of those $160,000,000 jobs too.
Boo Khaki
Isn't it a civil suit stemming from alleged events in 2020, so basically just one that slipped through the net?

He's a scumbag, but that's completely unnecessary and typical f**king over-reaction by US cops when it comes to stopping black guys in cars. Kind of. Quote According to the lawsuit, the woman was discouraged from coming forward with her story after seeing how previous women who made allegations were treated by Watson’s defense team and the public. The filing states that she first attempted to resolve issues with Watson without filing a public lawsuit, but those efforts failed. Has happened to a few NRL players over recent years, early retirements due to continual concussions. It's not just the number, it's the recovery time, and the way he's getting injured itself. After the Dec '22 Concussion he took over 5 weeks to clear the protocol. The one he suffered when he fell backwards and banged his head on the turf isn't uncommon, but the one last week wasn't on a particularly heavy hit. It's not like he's getting thumped by huge guys, he ran into what, by NFL standards, is a totally innocuous collision and came out with a concussion. Hamlin didn't even really try to hit or tackle him, it was more like Hamlin was trying to "catch" him. It's really concerning for his future health.
