Calm down lads. Richardson will definitely play again and likely for a large portion of this year.

Of course he will he plays for the Commish's beloved jets!!! He'll get a slap on the wrist and told to stop being a scally wag!!!

Not if those allegations are true. Thats 10 times worse than what Ray Rice done

He has been charged with resisting arrest and various traffic violations. The NFL won't make a suspension until the trial which is likely to be a long way away. If he is suspended it is likely to be at the start of next year and it is ridiculous to say he will never play again. Totally ridiculous.

Jets should let him leave when his rookie contract runs out. Extend Wilkerson, see how Williams does and move on.

Or do what the Pats did with Hernandez and release him immediately.

Maybe not release him but I think the Jets should suspend him for a few games

I do remember the Ravens getting a lot of stick for not releasing Rice sooner and I don't see why the same shouldn't apply here. It's not even his first offence and this one sounds a lot worse!!!

Richardson will play again he's too good not to. What he has done though is cost himself a lot of money as he more than likely to get a Greg hardy type deal next season.

Agree, he's more of an idiot than a criminal.

He will be on the Jets this year and next year at least. 5 year option would give us him until end of 2017 season and I'd be hesitant to give him guaranteed money after that.

That's right people can say what they want about the Pats but as soon as a Pats fan says anything "oh dear"

Pretty much nailed it tbh

Remind me how many people Sheldon Richardson murdered?

So what youre saying is it's fine to (allegedly) almost murder several people including a child? I recommend you read that Bleacher Report article on the situation

I don't even understand half of this post.

I know what he did was incredibly stupid but I'm looking at it from the view of the possible suspension. Is it okay to strike a woman? No, but Greg Hardy, Junior Gallette and many others are on NFL rosters.
