LongTimeLurker
As Maggie Thatcher (not a fan of her politics) put it the best approach on this is to deny it "the oxygen of publicity".

bellshillmad
the trouble was caused when people following a repubulican march in glasgow turned up at the match.there was no trouble between larkhall or st rochs fans; junior fans dont want this crap ; i think the incident says more about the west of scotland problem than any junior team

OldtimeLarky
Larky win 4-0. No problems. Understand there was a " fans against criminalisation march" today so these idiots did not turn up. They only appear to turn up against us. " If they knew their history " they would know we were almost called Larkhall Celtic- 10 years before Celtic were formed. Nothing to do with the St Rochs guys who are brand new. And who do a fantastic job in very trying conditions, the area is one of the poorest in Europe. This stems back to the most notorious riot in Junior football , a Scottish Cup tie in 1970, played on the day of a postponed Old Firm game. No prizes for guessing who was supporting who. A St Rochs fan was hit on the head by a paving slab and was lucky to survive. 96 arrests leading to many very serious charges. However few modern supporters will recollect this.
