Everyone wants a cheaper rate or a comped (complimentary/no charge) room.

The best (and only) way to get a comped room is to gamble exclusively at one group's casinos on a trip. Grab a player's club card and make sure to keep it in the machine when you play slots or give it to the dealer/pit boss when playing table games.

You won't get the comped room until your next trip since it is based on your play, unless you are churning through a ton of cash on your present visit and get noticed by a Host.

MGM (Mlife) - NYNY, Luxor, Mandalay Bay, Bellagio, MGM Grand, etc.

Caesars Entertainment (Total Rewards) - Paris, Planet Hollywood, Bally's, Flamingo, etc.

If travelling with a partner, you get better rates by putting both Player's Club #s in the reservation.

My wife went to Vegas in July and gambled a modest amount whilst staying at Rio. Because of that, we are staying comped at PH next April for 5 nights.

For saving money, don't forget Groupon, Restaurant.com and checking SlickDeals.net and MouseSavers for discount codes for rental cars. Play MyVegas on Facebook and mobile (no cost to play) for Vegas freebies.

Anyone travelling to Vegas Jan - April 2016? If you buy $100 of Gift Certificates from the Lettuce Entertain You group of restaurants in the month of December, they give you $25 bonus bucks to spend Jan-Apr. No limit to the amount you can buy and use.

They have 2 stunning places: Mon Ami Gabi at Paris and Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab at Caesars. Anyway, those are things I do. Keeping up the rep as a tight Fifer, but enjoying the place too.
